Your Impact

  • Engage with assigned customer accounts to accelerate their value realization by assisting in the deployment of Nexus Smart Switches and Hypershield into customer networks to ensure their success.
  • Build deep technical relationships with key customer team members and be a trusted advisor
  • Bring your customer's expertise to collaborate with engineering and support teams to unblock customer issues
  • Build and conduct workshops, training material, reference architectures, product documentation, and any relevant artifacts that would help us provide additional value to our customers, deepen their understanding of our technology, and run the most reliably in production

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience configuring and managing Cisco Nexus switches or Cisco devices OR minimum of 5 years of experience configuring and managing networking infrastructure from another major vendor
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Linux
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience securing operating system (OS) instances, applications, and/ordistributed systems


Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of standard methodologies for operating systems security and their application in cloud-native technologies and environments
  • Evidence of direct experience using network troubleshooting tools, including but not limited to packet capture and analysis utilities
  • Proven familiarity with tools and technologies for automating repetitive tasks
  • Experience with designing and implementing security solutions across multiple platforms
  • A solid understanding of the pillars of observability
  • Prior experience working with and supporting open source software (OSS)
  • Ability to provide well-structured reasoning and insights about various cloud-native technologies and security frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to make informed recommendations based on technical and business needs
  • Possessing CCNP Data Center, CCNP Enterprise, DevNet Professional, CCIE Data Center, CCIE Enterprise, or DevNet Expert certifications will be a key advantage.

As a Customer Experience Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful adoption and utilization of Cisco technologies and services within our customer organizations leading to value realization and growth of our business. You're the primary CX point-of-contact for customers taking end-to-end ownership. You will understand their Business and Technical objectives and develop strategies that will enable them.   • Develop and maintain strong executive and technical influence with customers and understanding their business challenges and objectives.
  • Advocate for the customer within Cisco, ensuring their needs are met and that they receive a high-quality customer experience.
  • Accountable for financials including services revenue and margin and making needed strategic financial decisions.
  • Build and implement Technical Adoption Plans in partnership with CSS that align with customer goals to maximize their technology investments and promote the full use of our technologies.
  • Build E2E Customer plan aligning Delivery, Partner, Architecture, and Customer Success adoption strategy and execution
  • Lead Customer Value Workshops and QBRs to review adoption progress and drive customers outcomes and benefits expected from Cisco products resulting in successful onboarding, adoption and renewals.
  • Be a Technology Evangelist between customers and Cisco’s product teams, providing feedback to advise product development and enhancements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Cisco technologies, competitive landscape, and industry trends to provide expert mentorship to customers.

Your Impact

As Senior Leader, Strategic Customer Engagement, you will lead Cisco’s most influential executive customer engagement programs. You’ll be responsible for enhancing and scaling both the Global Customer Advisory Board (GCAB) and the Executive Sponsorship Program—initiatives critical to Cisco’s CEO and Executive Leadership Team (ELT). The Executive Sponsorship Program, in particular, is positioned for significant growth as a key enabler of customer loyalty and relationship development, and you will manage it in tandem with the GCAB to increase impact. While establishing credibility with the CEO and ELT is essential, your primary collaboration will be with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Communications leaders. This is an ideal role for someone with a strong sales background who understands the Cisco sales organization, appreciates the challenges facing account teams, and can quickly grasp high-level technology and product roadmap concepts. You’ll manage a direct report for programmatic support, drive new strategies for customer engagement, and ensure Cisco remains the partner of choice for our most strategic customers.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in program management, executive relationship management, customer engagement, or sales roles.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience coordinating global teams or high-impact programs.
  • Proven track record managing executive sponsorship programs, customer advisory boards, or similar high-touch initiatives.
  • Experience planning and driving high-profile executive events.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Sales experience and a strong understanding of Cisco Sales processes and account team challenges.
  • Ability to quickly grasp high-level technology and product roadmap concepts; knowledge of Cisco’s product portfolio preferred.
