  • Solve complicated architecture problems to build scalable and extendable managed service platform catering to Cisco's customers.
  • Coordinate between Product management, customer facing delivery engineers, support and other engineering teams.
  • Take complete ownership from conception to production release by maximizing your ability to influence, facilitate and work collaboratively across teams.
  • With the collaboration with other engineers, lead and implement required features in the ServiceNow platform and support the same.
  • Lead, mentor and spread standard methodologies to other specialists on the team.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 12-15 years of professional experience, with a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow application development, including leading and mentoring geographically distributed teams in development, testing and deployment activities.
  • Proven experience in integrating ServiceNow with external systems and components.
  • In addition to ServiceNow software development experience in at least one programming language (Java or Python) is must.
  • In-depth expertise with ServiceNow modules including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, user management and SLAs.
  • Extensive experience with ServiceNow Service Portal and its customization.
  • Hands on experience in Javascript backend and front end development and development using Angular JS
  • Advanced knowledge in ServiceNow Administration and Application Development, including Transform Maps, Update sets and Workflows.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Solid understanding of core Computer Science principles, with a focus on algorithms and data structures.
  • Strong leadership skills, with proven experience in guiding a team to deliver high-quality solutions within deadlines, while fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and effectively lead cross-functional teams.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and best practices, with an emphasis on agile methodologies
Certifications Preferred
  • Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Mandatory
  • Certified Application Developer (CAD) – Mandatory
  • ITIL Certification – Nice to have
  • Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Certified Master Architect (CMA) – Highly desirable

You've got strong experience design, implementation, and characterizing High-Speed analog circuits. This includes a solid knowledge about fundamentals of circuits, transmission lines and microwave theory. You’re familiar in Cadence design flow with strong knowledge and understanding of layout. You’ve got a proven track record of putting leading edge, high performance high frequency analog designs into volume production and proficient working with CMOS technologies. You have good analytic and decision-making skills. Your strong communication skills help you influence others.

Job role requires onsite presence (Hybrid job but with presence on site 90% of the time) requiring presence in lab for HW design development and test

Minimum Qualifications
  • More than 6 years of design and layout experience using Cadence design flow

In the system design team we focus on requirements and architectures of next generations optical transceiver modules. We develop and investigate signal processing algorithms which will be implemented into state-of-the art ASICs.

Your Impact

As a System Design Leader for Optical Transceivers with a strong background in communication theory you will strengthen our development team in Nuremberg, Germany. In your work you will cover following topics:

  • Define system architecture including selection and specification of enabling technologies such as optical components and mixed-signal IP.
  • Develop power-efficient DSP algorithms for implementation in state-of-the art ASIC technology.
  • Closely collaborate with international ASIC design team to direct both design and verification of DSP implementation.
  • Develop behavioral simulation models of analog and optical components for integration into simulation platform for performance evaluation.
  • Participate in cross-functional Solution Control Board committee to prioritize and direct investigation and design efforts.
  • Lead and actively participate in performance-related system integration efforts and validation measurements.
  • Closely collaborate with local FW design team. Specify and validate FW-based DSP control and supervision algorithms.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Deep knowledge in digital signal processing, system theory and channel coding for optical communication.
  • Knowledge in fixed-point DSP algorithm design for target HW-platform considering complexity and power dissipation constraints.
  • Knowledge in C++, Matlab, and Python.
  • Strong background in measurement and characterization of optical transceivers.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master degree in electrical engineering or higher.
  • Technical leadership skills including strong background in ISO-compliant development processes.
  • Knowledge in optical components, optical transmission theory and measurement methodology.
  • Background in system-level standard bodies (IEEE, OIF) requirements for optical transceivers.
