Reporting to the VP of Engineering, this job requires an individual who exhibits an ability to take on diverse projects and offer strong technical solutions. You will be expected to collaborate with multiple teams to ensure the success of DevOps processes and procedures. This role requires the ability to identify areas of improvement, make recommendations, and constantly strive for ways to improve processes. The successful candidate will be a full-stack developer with a strong emphasis on back-end development. You will be required to create new applications and maintain existing source code repositories; thus your proficiency in a range of programming languages, such as Java, JavaScript, etc. is a must. Besides, you should be familiar with the latest DevOps practices and theories. You will be accountable for performing unit and system tests to ensure the quality of your work. Your role requires the ability to maintain the uptime and scalability of the cloud environments, and you should be an excellent troubleshooter who can quickly identify and resolve problems, often creating automated fixes. The successful candidate should have at least 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering.
