What You’ll Do:
Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process. This will include creating compelling position descriptions, sourcing diverse candidate pipelines, marketing Capital One's talent brand to attract top talent, screening candidates, advising hiring managers on the recruiting process, and negotiating job offers
Source stellar candidates. Look beyond direct applications and leverage search engines, career sites, recruiting events, and other innovative sourcing techniques to find the best talent in the market
Provide a great end-to-end recruiting experience for candidates and hiring managers
Advise clients and leadership on market trends and recommend more effective ways to attract and recruit great talent
Develop candidate pipeline strategies to fill open positions (i.e., talent marketing, LinkedIn sourcing, referrals, etc.)
Consult with hiring managers on their talent needs
ic Qualifications:
Intermediate-Advanced English fluency
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
At least 2 years of experience in recruiting, human resources or client consulting experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification
1+ years of experience in Corporate Recruiting – full life cycle, research, and sourcing
1+ year of experience consulting with multiple hiring managers at once while developing and enhancing excellent working relationships with those managers and their teams
Ability to influence and drive results in a fast-paced environment
Ability to use innovative techniques to attract and recruit diverse HR talent
Experience in compensation and general HR requirements as related to hiring

As a Senior Director of Software Engineering, you will be responsible for working with senior Technology and Business Executives, understanding their Vision and translating it into Execution Strategy. You will be guiding software engineering teams that are responsible for the design and delivery of high quality software for critical business features, built on AWS to the latest technology standards. As a Sr. Director of Software Engineering, you will:

Provide thought leadership and guidance to our software engineers, and our product partners, with a focus on the software delivery experience, cloud and risk engineering and well managed
Encourage innovation, cutting-edge technologies, and out-of-the-box thinking
Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutions
Serve as the primary point of contact and proactively manage relationships with Capital One US Tech leaders to effectively align well-managed resources and sequence needs in support of strategic business and Tech priorities
