The VDC group is a prominent professional arm within our Operations department, responsible for creating the framework of the Digital Twin for our clients’ construction projects. It involves integrating our clients’ models, schedule and construction insights, with our proven construction management methodologies, into an accurate digital representation of the project.

As a VDCE in the VDC Group, you will take part in projects’ setup tasks and maintenance routines. You will collaborate closely with the Technical Product team to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of our digital twin solutions, as well as uncover new opportunities to deliver value to our clients.

What you'll do:

• Support projects’ setup and maintenance tasks, to maintain the digital twin throughout the project lifecycle, using Buildots design guidelines and methodologies.
• Bring your construction knowledge to the support of the ‘Buildots solution’ for global construction projects.
• Closely work with our Technical Product team to :
• Investigate and analyze digital twin quality issues.
• Help develop scalable quality logics to detect and address these issues efficiently.
• Identify and extract valuable client use cases based on insights from Buildots data.
• Research Buildots datasets to uncover patterns, define quality metrics, and propose new product capabilities.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of proven operational experience in construction projects with practical experience in site-based or project management related roles.
• Engineering (civil / structural) or equivalent, or Construction management degree.
• Strong working knowledge of BIM environment and 3D modeling software.
• Comfortable with working in a fast paced, dynamic and changeable environment
• Good working knowledge of MEP systems and installations and strong understanding of real-world construction workflows.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable researching and analyzing large datasets.
• Great interpersonal skills, positive attitude and strong team collaboration skills.
• Highly efficient and detail-oriented with strong organizational, time management.
• Good verbal and written professional communication skills in English and Hebrew.
• Tech savvy, proficient in computer applications, MS Office and G Suite.
• Be able to attend the Tel-Aviv office 3+ days per week.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and build the team’s engineering structure around model training, data flows, and MLOps.
• Mentor researchers on clean, maintainable code and perform regular code reviews.
• Define and enforce coding standards, testing strategies, and automation workflows.
• Incorporate best practices such as CI/CD for ML models, model versioning, monitoring, and validation automation.
• Optimize and refactor researchers’ code for performance and readability.
• Plan and implement how datasets are structured, versioned, and processed—ensuring reproducibility and clear data governance.

What You'll Do:

• End-to-end ownership: Identify and frame ambiguous business problems, set measurable success criteria, prototype solutions, and deliver production-ready algorithms.
• Algorithm design: Develop and refine methods across clustering, graph learning, causal inference, time-series modeling, and optimization to enable new product capabilities.
• Workflow deep dive: Work closely with Product teams to analyze current pipelines, map data and decision flows, and identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.

• 4+ years of experience solving algorithmic problems with real-world data in areas such as: Unsupervised learning & clustering, Time-series analysis, Graphs & sequences (graph algorithms, path analysis, community detection)
• Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
• Skilled in handling complex and noisy datasets.
• BSc in CS, electrical engineering or similar degrees

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows using tools such as Python, dbt, and Airflow.
• Architect and optimize our data warehouse to support efficient analytics, reporting, and business intelligence at scale.
• Model and structure data from multiple internal and external sources (such as Salesforce, Jira, Mixpanel, etc.) into clean, reliable, and analytics-ready datasets.
• Collaborate closely with our systems architect, analytics, and development teams to translate business requirements into robust and efficient technical data solutions.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Expert-level SQL skills, capable of performing complex table transformations and designing efficient data workflows.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and scripting tasks.
• Experience building and maintaining ELT/ETL pipelines using dbt.
• Hands-on experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow.
• Deep understanding of data warehouse concepts and methodologies, including data modeling.
