  • Attends cases in customer accounts and advises physicians on clinical attributes / techniques associated with our coronary products. Represents Interventional Solutions field organization during designated BSC clinic lab days.
  • Educates customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by giving presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms. Provide supplemental training support during product launches and for high touch specialty products (filter wire /rotablator).
  • Responds to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel to develop optimal solutions (especially training, troubleshooting and general case support for iLab hardware / IVUS).
  • Responsible for consignment inventory tracking, semiannual audits, expired product and returns.
  • Ensure timely collection, reporting of all required medical documentation pertaining to our procedural device operation.
  • Fully support the Quality Policy by building quality into all aspects of the incumbent's work and by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
  • Must live within the assigned geographical territory.

Required qualifications

  • BA/BS required or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in sales, healthcare industry, or clinical setting.
  • Must have a technical aptitude; be able to discuss & explain complex technical product information.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and travel when needed.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers (including all BSC divisions).

Preferred qualifications

  • Clinical work experience in Cardiology within the medical device and/or pharmaceutical industry (clinical, sales).

  • Strong presentation and training skills, with experience delivering product education to physicians, nurses, and lab staff

About the role:

The Quality Technician I role in Core Tech Polymers (CTP) is the first point of contact for production personnel regarding quality issues.  The quality technician is responsible for documenting non-conforming events as well as identifying and segregating impacted material.  The position requires creative thinking and investigation skills to resolve problems that arise on extrusion production floor. The quality technician will be responsible for supporting multiple production lines to keep material flowing and assuring quality requirements are maintained throughout the process. Technical aptitude will be a key component as much of the technician role involves working with technology systems including MES, SAP, downtime tracking, and DataMetrics among others.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Investigate and document non-conforming events in eCAPA system
  • Perform project and product testing
  • Assist engineers in failure analysis
  • Provide direct quality support for day to day production floor operations
  • Learn and create setups in Statistical Process Monitoring (SPC) program
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects
  • Assist with quality issues and quality metrics related activities.
  • Document non-conforming events and quarantine impacted material
  • Perform testing, gather data, and analyze results of product testing and process monitoring.
  • Assist with CAPA activities
  • Use documentation systems to research information and generate Change Requests.
  • Assist in the investigation and disposition of nonconforming materials, designs and/or systems.

  • Creative Economic and Value-Added Solutions: Identifies and develops working relationships with the economic buyer in their regions key accounts; Facilitation of contract negotiations involving all products within the region; Creates a compete “bundle” of product and value-add services; Evaluates situations as they affect both the account/customer, as well as the division’s overall long and short-term business needs; Helps define negotiation parameters for tough economically constrained customer situations.
  • Building and Maintaining Relationships: Maintains contact with major accounts and key relationships seeking to leverage them into profitable business ventures; Assist key customers in the creation, maintenance, expansion and startup of Watchman related educational courses and forums; Attend and participate in customer, company and industry sponsored forums and courses; Develop and maintain relationships with key BSC functional areas including but not limited too - National Accounts, marketing, finance, corporate programs; Spends time in the field with multiple field sales personnel to support their professional development needs and to maintain and develop strong relationships and understanding of the customer. Responsible for recruiting, coaching and developing organizational talent. Required qualifications:

  • A four-year degree with a background (7-10+ years) in sales and a proven track record of success will help in making this position a successful team approach to selling in the catheterization lab and to our physicians.
  • Strong clinical, analytical, and selling skills are a must in this position.
  • Highly motivated, high impact individual with strong technical, analytical and leadership competencies to work effectively in a sales organization.
  • Highly detailed oriented, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills, including effectively managing multiple priorities.
  • Candidate must have experience working successfully within a matrix organization, effectively influencing cross-functionally, across divisions and at various levels of management.

  • Direct experience in Structural Heart products.
  • Sales management experience.
  • Proven sales team development.

The anticipated annualized base amount or range for this full time position will be$90,000, plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives) as well as the value of core and optional benefits offered at BSC, which can be reviewed at www.bscbenefitsconnect.com. Required qualifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in clinical cardiology, medical device sales, or a related industry.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in structural heart, atrial fibrillation, or electrophysiology strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated technical aptitude with the ability to communicate complex clinical and product information effectively.

  • Advanced degree in healthcare or business is a plus.
