Purpose Statement

As a Global Senior Planner, you will support the SI&OP process for your assigned product families, ensuring global alignment and supporting strategic priorities. Your leadership will play a key role in fostering cross-functional collaboration, addressing challenges, and driving continuous improvement in supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • SI&OP Leadership :
    • Lead the SI&OP process for your assigned product families, ensuring alignment across global teams and maintaining focus on strategic goals.
    • Facilitate demand and supply reviews, driving decisions that balance customer needs, inventory levels, and production capabilities.
  • Dual-Site Manufacturing:
    • Manage net requirements to support dual-site manufacturing initiatives between Penang and other sister sites, enabling efficient allocation of resources and production planning.
  • Execution Management:
    • Partner with manufacturing teams to ensure seamless execution of supply chain processes, maintaining high service levels and aligning production outputs with divisional objectives.
  • Demand Management:
    • Collaborate with regional teams to review, adjust, and improve demand forecasts, ensuring proactive responses to market changes.
  • Inventory Optimization:
    • Monitor inventory performance and recommend actionable strategies to reduce excess, obsolete, and expired stock while safeguarding supply continuity.
  • Strategic Projects:
    • Contribute to strategic initiatives impacting the global supply chain, identifying risks, and ensuring effective communication and resolution of concerns.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • 5-9 years of experience in supply chain, materials management, or manufacturing planning.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 , particularly for analytics, automation, and process improvement.

  • Knowledge of Kinaxis RapidResponse , SAP , or similar supply chain software is beneficial but not required.

  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed.

Skills:

  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills, capable of building trust, engaging, and influencing stakeholders at all levels across global teams.
  • Proven ability to work independently and make efficient, data-driven decisions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • The ICTx CRC role is the clinical expert and clinical mentor of the region. This responsibility is driven significantly by a training philosophy, leadership attributes, patient first philosophy, strong work ethic and moral code, respect of and from peers, trust, and accountability to always lead by example.
  • Work closely with KOLs to drive awareness of Boston Scientific tools and resources, and establish BSC as the CTO/Complex PCI partner of choice.
  • Education of physicians, staff, hospital administration and regional sales team on the merits and proper clinical usage of ICTx products through presentations and demonstrations.
  • Develops relationships with hospital personnel to identify key customers and decision makers to achieve projected sales goals and increasing sales revenues within the ICTx franchise.
  • Demonstrate effective change leadership to adapt to an evolving customer base and industry expectations.
  • Communicate and drive alignment of corporate, division, regional vision, goals, to execute sales growth activities.
  • Lead account planning and strategizing for Modern PCI program expansion, focused primarily on high opportunity accounts.
  • Partner with local selling teams to execute growth strategies and hit quota metrics.
  • Clinical Excellence: Maintains the skills and knowledge to sell the entire product line to all applicable buying influences and can differentiates each product line against the competitor’s products in front of the customer.
  • Build and maintain relationships with major accounts and key customers to leverage into profitable business ventures; Assist key customers in the creation, maintenance, expansion and startup related educational courses and forums.
  • Attend and participate in customer, company and industry sponsored forums and courses.
  • Adhere to, communicate, and reinforce BSC policies, business conduct and quality standards.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time.


Required qualifications:

  • BA/BS required or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in sales, healthcare industry, or a clinical setting.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and travel when needed.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Clinical work experience in Cardiology within the medical device and/or pharmaceutical industry (clinical, sales).
  • Triple certified CT Clinical Specialist, or similar field support role with documented demonstration of leadership qualities and respect of teammates.
  • Technical aptitude; be able to discuss & explain complex technical product information.
  • Demonstrated leadership/credibility within local team.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers (including all BSC divisions).

The anticipated annualized base amount or range for this full time position will be$100,000 to $120,000, plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives) as well as the value of core and optional benefits offered at BSC, which can be reviewed at www.bscbenefitsconnect.com. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.

  • Spends a significant amount of time in the field with each sales representative to support their professional development needs coaching TMs on selling skills and sharing personal selling experiences in a way that motivates and teaches applicable skills (C-Suite selling, patient care pathways, reimbursement, working with the site of service decision-makers).
  • Regularly connects with team members individually (spontaneously and scheduled), via phone and in person, to discuss territory updates and progress towards goals, identifying accounts where RM involvement may be needed, providing coaching, advice, support, motivation or information to help individuals meet and ideally exceed their defined sales objectives
  • Facilitate regular regional team meetings (spontaneously and scheduled), via phone and/or in person, to discuss company/region updates and market information, share successes, discuss learning opportunities and brainstorm amongst the group, among other topics.
  • Integrates individual territory plans and account profiles into a broader regional sales plan scaling and recommending the splitting of territories as necessary
  • Identify and develop working relationships with KOLs and key customers in their region's key accounts.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 15+ years of experience in medical device sales, and 5+ years of sales management experience in the medical device industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of Regional Management performance and individual sales performance
  • Experience recruiting top talent and hiring the best in the industry.
  • Experience in mentoring team members, leading them to success, as well as issuing performance improvements plans for underperformers when needed.
  • Have successfully worked in an operating room environment, physician’s office and has a clear understanding of credentialing process and requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong rapport and relate well to internal and external customers; company and cross-functional business partners, hospital administration, physicians, facility office staff, as well as hospital’s clinical and economic decision makers.
  • Experience working in challenging reimbursement environments including Medicare/Medicaid, and private regional and national payors
  • Must be able to meet all hospital credentialing requirements, including but not limited to, background check, drug screen and certain immunizations.
  • Must be insurable and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be willing and able to travel (by automobile or air, day trips and overnight stays) more than 50% of the time.
