Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Handling customer orders, with possible input into SAP and/or resolution of issues related to electronic orders, within the working day and monitoring the delivery process to the customer.
  • Managing of Work Orders that are submitted through Service Max in order to have them integrated in SAP.
  • Management of backorders.
  • Issuing and checking invoices in electronic format with possible resolution of anomalies.
  • Customer Support and assistance to the sales force to ensure full satisfaction of external and internal customer requests.
  • Complaints management registering all Service Complaints in Sales Cloud and making sure that all actions are correctly processed


What we are looking for in you:

  • Previous experience in Customer Service roles in commercial companies, preferably multinational; any previous experience in the healthcare/MedTech environment will be a plus.
  • Good level of English (ideally B2 or above), both written and spoken, and good reading comprehension skills.
  • Fluent knowledge and use of SAP required; use of EDI (electronic data interchange) preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel required (pivot tables, 'Vlookup' function).
  • Aptitude for using advanced IT tools.
  • Excellent ability to relate to customers and colleagues and to handle complaints and urgent requests.
  • Aptitude for teamwork.
  • Ability to withstand stress.
  • Aptitude for customer satisfaction and continuous improvement of service and processes.

About the Role:

We are looking for a new talent who will join our company as Accountant, where they will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, compliance with internal and external requirements, and timely reporting.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and posting accounting journal entries in compliance with applicable standards.
  • Performing account reconciliations and investigating variances.
  • Actively contributing to the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Reviewing financial statements and accounting reports to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Preparing both group reporting and statutory financial statements, in line with local and US GAAP requirements.
  • Supporting external audits and tax inspections, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • Assisting in the preparation of tax returns (e.g., VAT, withholding tax, corporate income tax).
  • Executing payments using the company’s home banking systems.
  • Providing support to business units on matters related to credit cards, employee expenses, and other finance-related topics.

What are we looking for in you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in an accounting role, ideally in a multinational or regulated industry.
  • Solid knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and local Portuguese accounting standards.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP and experience with SAP ERP S/4HANA is considered a strong plus.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, multicultural, and dynamic team environment.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; Spanish is a plus.
  • Experience with Global Business Services
  • Immediate availability or short notice is considered a strong asset.

About the Role
The Electrophysiology Field Clinical Specialist will provide expert clinical product and technical assistance and training to physicians, laboratory staff, and sales representatives on the effective and safe use of the Farapulse () system during case procedures within an assigned geography, and in a manner that leads to meeting and exceeding business goals. In addition, you will also specialize with our wider portfolio including POLARx and Opal equipment.

This remote field-based role offers a permanent position and covers South Portugal.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Serves as primary resource for clinical support in the areas of case coverage, basic troubleshooting, system, and software development.
  • Educates customers and internal Boston Scientific employees on the merits and proper clinical usage of the Farapulse device by giving presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms (e.g., slides, transparencies, manuals) to keep all abreast of the latest product and technology developments.
  • Attends cases in labs of hospital accounts for case support and development efforts of the Farapulse system and its components.
  • Providing initial and continuous, as needed, training and feedback for development team and sales representatives (as appropriate) on Farapulse, development process, products and features, and procedures involving those products and features.
  • Meets with existing and potential clients (e.g., physicians, physician office groups at hospitals) by traveling (in an automobile or airplane) to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care and to discuss and demonstrate how company products can help them to achieve their goals.
  • Develops relationships with hospital personnel (e.g., through casual conversation, meetings, participation in conferences) to make new contacts in other departments within hospitals and to identify key decision makers to facilitate future sales.
  • Responds to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel (e.g., sales, clinical research, marketing, technical support) to develop optimal solutions.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for South Portugal and may on occasion be required to support colleagues in neighboring regions.
  • This remote field-based role will require travel (approximately 80%) across the South of Portugal.


What are we looking for in you:

  • Successfully completed studies within Biomedical Sciences/Engineering (or a similar subject area), preferably within electrophysiology.
  • Professional industry experience in a similar role having worked with mapping systems.
  • Experience with Opal mapping is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Can understand and communicate complex technical and clinical details.
  • Professional working proficiency language skills in both Portuguese and English. Additional Spanish languages skills are appreciated.
  • Can rapidly adapt to a very dynamic marketplace.
  • Strong team player, collaborative, and can build relationships and work cross-functionally.
  • Self-motivated and can influence others.
  • Flexible, adaptable but focused and persistent.
  • Willing and can travel extensively as required by workload.
