You're Responsibilities include:

• Performs month-end close process and acts as liaison with several supported sites.
• Compiles and analyzes financial information through preparation of reports and general ledger journal entries.
• Assures financial accuracy for all supported sites and supports all legal entity closings on a monthly basis.
• Takes an active interest in seeking opportunities for continuous improvement, standardizing processes across multiple legal entities.
• Builds and maintains relationships throughout the organization.
• Establishes and communicates accounting processes by maintaining a thorough understanding of GAAP and new accounting guidance as appropriate.
• Implementation and maintenance of internal controls. Ensure adherence to internal policies and best practice policies.
• Partners with E&Y and SOX management team to fulfill audit requests.
• Works to deliver upon key performance metrics and service levels agreed with business partners and management.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent.
• English Level +95%.
• 2 years’ relevant experience.
• SAP Experience a plus.
• Payroll accounting experience a plus.
• Open to working across global time zone.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must have highly developed customer relationship skills with strong service orientation.
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.

About the role:

Provide support to the Financial Department in one or more of the following areas: Payroll, general accounting, fix asset, and accounts payable.

You're Responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with the Finance Department on maintaining and monitoring Boston Scientific´s Fixed Assets, in this way meeting and exceeding legal guidelines and better profession practices, both internally and externally.
• Collaborate with the Finance Department providing follow up to control owners regarding the requirements assigned, performing metrics, and presenting results to Finance department.

• Collaborate with the Finance Department in the implementation of the Site´s Internal Control System (including SOX Regulations), the development of procedures, and the execution of internal audits, which allow Boston Scientific to comply with local and international Finance regulations.
• Assist the Finance Department in recording accounting transactions, maintenance and control of balance sheet accounts as well as in critical tasks of treasury, such as consolidation of weekly cash flow, reconciliation bank accounts and control and management of bank balances as to meet and exceed both internally and externally, with legal guidelines and best practices of the profession.
• Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• English Level desired: Intermediate.
• Experience: 1 year of experience in similar roles in manufacturing.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Desired knowledge: Free trade zone regulations.
