Responsibilities

The Medsurg marketing intern will support the product managers of both divisions, Endoscopy and Urology to plan, develop, and execute marketing and ProfEd initiatives, according to BSC expectations and policies.

Logistics:
• Seminars (salesForce) module administration:
o Create educational activities.o Responsible of data base and reports
• Demos, models and POP material request and shipment.
• Logistic follow-up and attendance when required.

ROI:
• Digitalization and consolidation of attendees’ data bases, including executed investment
• KPIs Monthly follow-up: Collect performance metrics and measure progress
• Monthly Summary of activities executed and impact
• Creation of Data bases of HCPs trained by therapies.

Marketing expenditure Control:
• Monthly marketing expenditure follow-up (cost allocation)

Proctorship:
• Responsible of Confirmation of Services and consolidate proctorship services.
• Follow-up on Proctorship services (done / cancelled) and invoices received
• Keep Updated Proctor data bases & IRF post approval doccumentation

Demos and Models
• Responsible of demos and models process:
o Ship demos and models requested by FCS and Marketing
o Update demos, models and POP material inventory, and establish a follow-up and control process.
o Load Purchase Orders for POP material

e-marketing campaigns
• Follow-up on external agencies when required
• Support
• Support digital marketing campaigns related to branding, content creation, and social media marketing aligned with legal and compliance:
o Special Health Dates & celebrations
o Clinical studies awareness

About the role:


This role is for a Manufacturing Engineer III on our Sensors and Micro Interconnects team. The role of this position is to lead engineering initiatives for the daily support of Electrophysiology (EP) products, processes, materials, and equipment to meet operations goals. In a fast-paced and dynamic environment, this position will be primarily responsible for two manufacturing lines with secondary responsibilities for a new product development project. This role will work cross-functionally with quality, production, process development, R&D, and project management teams to achieve goals, as well as update, improve, or add new manufacturing processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor performance of equipment and processes, providing troubleshooting and root cause analysis of non-conformances, low yields, or other quality/production issues
  • Communicate effectively to an audience consisting of peers, operations management, and supporting divisions (R&D, Sustaining Engineering, Project Management, etc.)
  • Plan, organize and prioritize daily work to meet production and project goals
  • Apply problem solving and process improvement methodologies to complex and diverse manufacturing processes, across multiple product lines – driving root cause analysis and resolution
  • Train and/or provide work direction to early-career engineers, manufacturing operators, and technicians
  • Recognize quality signals and escalate appropriately within the quality system requirements
  • Lead projects with cross-functional team members working towards common business goals
  • Work collaboratively with divisional customer teams (R&D, Sustaining Engineering, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Quality, other) to deliver on new product introductions, change management, process improvements, or business continuity projects
  • Gather, analyze, and summarize data – drawing conclusions, and reporting out to peers and management
  • Work with vendors/suppliers on technical design, procurement, and fabrication of materials, equipment, fixturing, etc.
  • Takes initiative to identify improvement opportunities, prioritize them, communicate them to the appropriate levels and sees them through to completion
  • Is resilient in the face of setbacks; plans appropriately for risks and responds positively to unforeseen problems


Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional engineering experience
  • Proven understanding of manufacturing problem solving, data analysis, and production flow tools (i.e. LEAN manufacturing)
  • Proven ability to provide creative solutions and collaboratively draw ideas from cross functional teams
  • Proven ability to provide mentorship to early-career engineers
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Prior Boston Scientific experience
  • Device assembly/testing and packaging systems experience
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Experience in the medical device industry
  • Experience with micro electrical connections (welding, soldering, wire prep, etc.)
  • Experience with lamination processes
  • Experience with Windchill and/or MES

Maximum Salary: $ 144400

Compensation fornon-exempt (hourly), non-sales rolesmay also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
