We are seeking a
Technical Product Managerto join our Core teams in the Experimentation Platform department. In this role, you will own key components of the experimentation data infrastructure and data products that power product decision-making at Booking.com.

  • You will be responsible for ensuring that our tracking systems, randomization logic, data pipelines and APIs are reliable, scalable and easy to use. You will partner closely with engineers to modernize legacy systems and enhance developer experience across the company.

  • You will enable experimentation across a wide range of services and technologies by ensuring consistent data quality, seamless integration and robust support for new use cases as the platform evolves.

  • You will lead the ideation and generation of experimentation data products by identifying use cases and enabling governed and secure access to experimentation datasets to increase the value Booking.com generates from experimentation and ensure the accuracy and trustworthiness of the data teams rely on.

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Experimentation Data Infrastructure

    • Contribute to the vision and roadmap for the Core team’s data infrastructure, ensuring it supports reliable data collection, processing, and access at scale.

    • Support the modernization of experimentation infrastructure, helping migrate legacy systems to more scalable, cloud-based solutions.

    • Partner closely with engineers to deliver and operate tracking, ingestion, and pipeline systems that ensure accuracy, performance, and reliability.

    • Define and monitor critical success metrics to evaluate product health and team impact.

    • Help the team identify and manage technical debt, balancing immediate delivery needs with long-term maintainability.

    • Work with your engineering counterpart to prioritize the team backlog, aligning day-to-day execution with user and business needs.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (engineering, data science, product) to gather requirements and ensure Core team services meet their needs.

    • Drive improvements in automation, monitoring, and observability to reduce operational workload and increase system reliability.

    • Partner with other product managers in the department to coordinate dependencies and contribute to the broader experimentation platform

  • Experimentation Data Products

    • Lead the ideation and delivery of experimentation data products that make experimentation data accessible, accurate and actionable.

    • Define use cases and requirements for post-experiment analysis that is not supported by the UI.

    • Enable governed and secure access to experimentation datasets to ensure consistency and trust across all analytical use.

    • Establish data quality and governance standards to maintain accuracy, reliability and compliance across experimentation data products.

Role Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 4 years in Product Management with a technical or platform focus, ideally managing data platforms (e.g., Experimentation, Machine learning platforms, Data warehouse, Data Lakes)

  • Data Product Mindset: Experience defining and delivering internal data products that transform raw data into trusted, actionable insights. Comfortable working with stakeholders to identify use cases, shape data access patterns and enforce governance standards.

  • Delivery & Maintainability: Proven ability to manage technical roadmaps, address technical debt and balance short-term delivery with long-term platform and product health.

  • Technical Fluency: Strong understanding of APIs, real-time and batch data pipelines, tracking libraries, and event collection technologies.

  • Experimentation Knowledge: Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation concepts, with an eagerness to deepen expertise in this area.

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to validate assumptions, explore data, and trace how it moves through systems; proven problem-solving and structured thinking.

  • Collaboration & Communication: Effective at engaging with engineers, data scientists, and users of the platform, translating technical detail into actionable goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 3+ years' experience in a top tier law firm, major corporation or financial institution in a role involving data protection, privacy compliance and data security;

  • An undergraduate degree and a legal professional qualification alongside a CIPP/E / CIPT (or other similar) certification is a plus;

  • A deep understanding of the GDPR / APAC / India data protection laws;

  • Experience with financial / banking products and regulatory developments in APAC / India;

  • The ability to quickly respond to issues at hand and able to prioritise effectively, with an entrepreneurial mindset and a “roll up sleeves” to get the job done;

  • Fluency in English with excellent communication skills, verbally, in writing and listening (other language skills are a plus).

  • Procuring and interpreting legal advice to the fintech business including on payment regulatory strategy, new fintech products and partnership models, from external counsel and internal subject matter experts

  • Coordinating legal support across different specialisms and areas (including Consumer, Regulatory, including as needed under the Digital Markets Act and/or Digital Services Act and other tech regulation, Data Protection, Financial Crime and Compliance) as well as outside of legal (tax, treasury, product)

  • Analysing precedents/case law and proposed existing laws and regulations that may impact the fintech products and their growth and facilitate the implementation of any regulatory requirements

  • Carrying out other tasks as required to enhance the effectiveness of the Product & Fintech legal team, and the wider Legal and Public Affairs team of Booking.com

  • Provide strategic legal guidance and help issue spot on a full range of legal issues, including commercial contracts, disputes, competition/consumer law, IP law, and applicable regulations (coordinating with other subject matter experts in the legal department) to ensure the team’s activities, policies, business practices and transactions comply with all relevant laws and regulations

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in working as an individual contributor in a ‘hands-on’ legal advisory support role, embedded in the business and working closely with the product and commercial teams - or close client contact with equivalent commercial exposure in private practice

  • Experience in a role with global or regional scope - the lawyer in this role should equally have a global worldview - and be capable of sourcing, critiquing and managing input form a range of internal and external stakeholders to form a view even outside of his or her direct experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in the localisation industry, including translation, transcreation, audiovisual translation, and/or quality management of localized copy for the Japanese market.

  • Demonstrated expertise in quality management processes such as linguistic QA, translation review, editing, and providing constructive feedback to internal and external linguists.

  • Strong background in terminology management, translation management software, and machine translation post-editing specific to Japanese.

  • Proven analytical skills to interpret quality data and market insights, supporting ongoing quality improvement in localized content.

The Localisation Lead is responsible for production, delivery and quality of localisation for their market and ensures all localisation requirements are delivered on time, within budget and in line with local market needs. They help ensure that our platform and channels are culturally resonant, brand-aligned and market-optimized.

The Localisation Lead acts as the ambassador for localisation in the market(s), proactively building relationships with key stakeholders. They will also look for opportunities for market-specific localisation strategy - as well as informing central localisation strategy - to deliver a more locally-relevant and customer-centric experience.

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Delivery

    • Ensure on-time delivery of localisation work for their language(s)/market(s)

  • Quality Monitoring:

    • Monitor quality of localized content for their market, provide feedback to quality vendors, address issues with translation vendors, take a lead role in arbitrations, and escalate recurring issues to the central Quality Team as required;

    • Oversee localisation product testing for their market;

    • Manage localisation assets (Localisation Style Guides, Glossaries, Translation Memories);

  • Vendor Management:

    • Assess and onboard new vendors;

    • Build and foster rapport with vendor linguists;

  • Localisation services:

    • Provide urgent ad-hoc marketing translations as required;

    • Provide consultation on selected localisation services such as transcreation, voice-over, post-editing, etc.;

  • Strategy

    • Provide local market perspective to inform central localisation strategy as required;

    • Identify localisation opportunities in customer journey to enhance international customer experience for their market;

    • Be ambassador for localisation and establish relationships with key localisation stakeholders in the market;

    • Provide cultural, linguistic, and market consultation to the business as required;

    • Facilitate research, experimentation, and A/B testing as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5+ years experience in a similar localisation role in the online space

  • Native speaker of the target language with fluent English;

  • Proven experience in translation, localisation and language quality management;

  • Experience managing linguistic teams and/or multiple Language Service Providers;

  • Deep understanding of the end-to-end localisation processes;

  • Good knowledge of localisation technology, incl. CATs, TMSs, MT and post-editing

  • Good understanding of internationalization with experience in product testing and bug reporting

  • Experience in creative writing, media or online marketing industry a plus

  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with ability to influence diverse stakeholders across business and leadership levels.

  • Manage relationships with global vendors to ensure seamless collaboration and high-quality service delivery. Proficiency in either Indonesian / Bulgarian / Malay / Estonian / Tagalog / Lithuanian / Latvian is required to effectively oversee quality standards and support localisation initiatives for the respective language market.

We are seeking a
Technical Product Managerto join our Core teams in the Experimentation Platform department. In this role, you will own key components of the experimentation data infrastructure and data products that power product decision-making at Booking.com.

  • You will be responsible for ensuring that our tracking systems, randomization logic, data pipelines and APIs are reliable, scalable and easy to use. You will partner closely with engineers to modernize legacy systems and enhance developer experience across the company.

  • You will enable experimentation across a wide range of services and technologies by ensuring consistent data quality, seamless integration and robust support for new use cases as the platform evolves.

  • You will lead the ideation and generation of experimentation data products by identifying use cases and enabling governed and secure access to experimentation datasets to increase the value Booking.com generates from experimentation and ensure the accuracy and trustworthiness of the data teams rely on.

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Experimentation Data Infrastructure

    • Contribute to the vision and roadmap for the Core team’s data infrastructure, ensuring it supports reliable data collection, processing, and access at scale.

    • Support the modernization of experimentation infrastructure, helping migrate legacy systems to more scalable, cloud-based solutions.

    • Partner closely with engineers to deliver and operate tracking, ingestion, and pipeline systems that ensure accuracy, performance, and reliability.

    • Define and monitor critical success metrics to evaluate product health and team impact.

    • Help the team identify and manage technical debt, balancing immediate delivery needs with long-term maintainability.

    • Work with your engineering counterpart to prioritize the team backlog, aligning day-to-day execution with user and business needs.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (engineering, data science, product) to gather requirements and ensure Core team services meet their needs.

    • Drive improvements in automation, monitoring, and observability to reduce operational workload and increase system reliability.

    • Partner with other product managers in the department to coordinate dependencies and contribute to the broader experimentation platform

  • Experimentation Data Products

    • Lead the ideation and delivery of experimentation data products that make experimentation data accessible, accurate and actionable.

    • Define use cases and requirements for post-experiment analysis that is not supported by the UI.

    • Enable governed and secure access to experimentation datasets to ensure consistency and trust across all analytical use.

    • Establish data quality and governance standards to maintain accuracy, reliability and compliance across experimentation data products.

Role Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 4 years in Product Management with a technical or platform focus, ideally managing data platforms (e.g., Experimentation, Machine learning platforms, Data warehouse, Data Lakes)

  • Data Product Mindset: Experience defining and delivering internal data products that transform raw data into trusted, actionable insights. Comfortable working with stakeholders to identify use cases, shape data access patterns and enforce governance standards.

  • Delivery & Maintainability: Proven ability to manage technical roadmaps, address technical debt and balance short-term delivery with long-term platform and product health.

  • Technical Fluency: Strong understanding of APIs, real-time and batch data pipelines, tracking libraries, and event collection technologies.

  • Experimentation Knowledge: Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation concepts, with an eagerness to deepen expertise in this area.

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to validate assumptions, explore data, and trace how it moves through systems; proven problem-solving and structured thinking.

  • Collaboration & Communication: Effective at engaging with engineers, data scientists, and users of the platform, translating technical detail into actionable goals.
