• High proficiency with accepted industry-specific authoring/publishing tools
• Eye for detail and quality

• Native English speaker & Proficient Hebrew speaker.

- System Installation & Maintenance: Install, upgrade, and maintain mainframe subsystems and related software.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and fine-tune subsystem performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
- Problem Diagnosis & Resolution: Analyze system logs, dump analysis, and performance reports to troubleshoot and resolve subsystem issues.
- Security & Compliance: Implement security policies, RACF/ACF2/Top Secret configurations, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts using Rexx, JCL, CLIST, or Python to enhance system efficiency.
- Disaster Recovery & Backup: Participate in business continuity planning, backup solutions, and recovery testing.
- Collaboration & Support: Work closely with application developers, DBAs, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration of mainframe subsystems.

- Experience: 7-10+ years of experience in mainframe system programming with expertise in two or more subsystems (CICS, DB2, IMS, MQ, and ADABAS).
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in IBM mainframe technologies, SMP/E, JES2/JES3, TSO/ISPF, VTAM, TCP/IP.
- Proficiency in subsystem administration (CICS, DB2, IMS, MQ), with strong CICS installation and configuration skills.
- Hands-on knowledge of IBM utilities, RMF, SMF or other monitoring tools.
- Proficiency in scripting (JCL, Rexx, Python).
- Security configuration experience with RACF, ACF2, or Top Secret.
