Bank of America is currently seeking a senior leader to evolve strategy for providing secure, reliable and innovative payment solutions to our healthcare clients. The Technology Executive works to deliver high-quality cloud solutions and helps drive a strong DevOps culture. Leading the team, you will be responsible for the architecture, development, deployment, and operations of our cloud infrastructure. You will be expected to share the on-call duty with the rest of the DevOps and engineering teams. Working closely with our Development teams you will be a champion of DevOps best practices including CI/CD, Infrastructure as code, containerization, microservice architecture, automated testing, and security.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Developers to build a world-class infrastructure that can meet our customer’s security and uptime requirements
  • Drive the development of our developer and CI/CD processes to improve our developer agility and code quality

Required Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of AWS and its associated technologies, both from DevOps and CloudOps perspective
  • Knowledge of Amazon ECS Cloud instances and configuration
  • Creating S3 buckets and manage IAM rule based policies
  • Design and manage highly scalable/available Cloud Infrastructure
  • Extensive knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure as code
  • Extensive knowledge of CI/CD tools and configuration of build and release pipelines
  • Working with version control tools such as Bitbucket or Github

  • Minimum 8+ years in Cloud Technologies preferably AWS
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience with deployment orchestration systems such as Kubernetes, ECS, and Elastic Beanstalk
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience working with CI/CD tools such as CircleCI or Jenkins
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience with Docker and Docker-Compose
  • Minimum 8+ years with configuration management and automation tools (e.g., Puppet, Ansible, Chef, CloudFormation, SaltStack, Terraform)
  • Strong Linux system administration experience
  • Strong programming experience in at least one language (python, node, java, go, c/c++, ruby)

The role within the Model and Testing Standards Oversight (MTSO) team will support the development and oversight of processes, standards, and controls across the model lifecycle in which Global Risk Analytics (GRA) / Enterprise Independent Testing (EIT) models are executed. The team collaborates with different GRA model development groups to evolve best practices and with Model Risk Management to adapt to changes in Enterprise and Regulatory requirements and expectations.


• Development and oversight of model management processes and standards, including model development, performance monitoring, implementation, and usage.
• Perform critical analysis and assess feedback from model development groups on processes, controls, and metrics design/optimization across model lifecycle.
• Assess impact from changes to Enterprise and Regulatory requirements, lead implementation of changes to processes and provide ad-hoc consultancy and resolution of process enquiries.
• Support the development of corresponding workflow infrastructure / technology for model related processes.
• Project manage change initiatives, defining discrete actions, timelines, and tracking to completion.
• Enhancing ongoing monitoring and related risk management capabilities.
• Support model-related regulatory engagements and the compilation of regulatory materials.

Bank of America is currently seeking a senior leader to evolve strategy for providing secure, reliable and innovative payment solutions to our healthcare clients. The Technology Executive works to deliver high-quality cloud solutions and helps drive a strong DevOps culture. Leading the team, you will be responsible for the architecture, development, deployment, and operations of our cloud infrastructure. You will be expected to share the on-call duty with the rest of the DevOps and engineering teams. Working closely with our Development teams you will be a champion of DevOps best practices including CI/CD, Infrastructure as code, containerization, microservice architecture, automated testing, and security.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Developers to build a world-class infrastructure that can meet our customer’s security and uptime requirements
  • Drive the development of our developer and CI/CD processes to improve our developer agility and code quality
  • Manage mission-critical cloud-based production systems; proactively take action if/when systems are down or there are interruptions in service; root cause and implement corrective actions to build long-term customer loyalty
  • Help create and evolve our operational processes
  • Help to identify emerging technologies that can enhance our offering to our customers
  • Be passionate about automation, quality, reliability, and scalability

Responsibilities:

  • Builds and manages teams by performing financial activities to inform workforce strategy and hiring practices, setting and tracking maturity and quality objectives, and training employees/teams to address feedback and achieve quality and performance objectives
  • Facilitates performance and career development of employees/teams through performance reviews, coaching, and creating development plans that are needed to build competencies and skills
  • Manages solution delivery and application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards, audit exams and reviews), ensuring all relevant risk, financial, and compliance policies are met
  • Manages relationships with business and technology partners and leads and creates followership in Communities of Practice in the organization
  • Contributes to the technology strategy for their technical domain
  • Creates an inclusive and healthy working environment and helps to resolve organizational impediments/blockers

Required Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of AWS and its associated technologies, both from DevOps and CloudOps perspective
  • Knowledge of Amazon ECS Cloud instances and configuration
  • Creating S3 buckets and manage IAM rule based policies
  • Design and manage highly scalable/available Cloud Infrastructure
  • Extensive knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure as code
  • Extensive knowledge of CI/CD tools and configuration of build and release pipelines
  • Working with version control tools such as Bitbucket or Github
  • Perform Patch management tasks include: maintaining current knowledge of available patches, deciding what patches are appropriate for particular systems, ensuring that patches are installed properly, testing systems after installation, and documenting all associated procedures.
  • Recommend and implement system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management.
  • Test new releases of products to ensure compatibility and minimize user impact.
  • Develop and document technical processes and procedures as needed. Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Minimum 8+ years in Cloud Technologies preferably AWS
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience with deployment orchestration systems such as Kubernetes, ECS, and Elastic Beanstalk
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience working with CI/CD tools such as CircleCI or Jenkins
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience with Docker and Docker-Compose
  • Minimum 8+ years with configuration management and automation tools (e.g., Puppet, Ansible, Chef, CloudFormation, SaltStack, Terraform)
  • Strong Linux system administration experience
  • Strong programming experience in at least one language (python, node, java, go, c/c++, ruby)
  • Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as ELK, DataDog or NewRelic, LogEntries, SumoLogic, etc.
  • Experience with Incident Management and crisis management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
