The VP Sales and Trading TDS develops an institutional investor base in the U.S. to fund the Bank and to place U.S. and Canadian money market positions. The position liaises closely with the Bank's other operations in Canada, Europe, and the U.S. to assist in meeting the Bank's objectives.
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth research and analysis of global foreign exchange markets, G10 and EM, identifying trends, and providing strategic insights to guide investment decisions
Develop and execute global FX trading strategies, taking into account market dynamics, economic indicators, and geopolitical events
Collaborate with traders, sales teams, and clients to provide real-time analysis, updates, and recommendations on FX market developments
Utilize strong quant skills to build and enhanceFX models and tools, integrating data analysis and new techniques into existing the FX strategy framework
Develop and implement forecasting models to predict currency movements, market volatility, and macroeconomic trends
Assist in the development and execution of hedging strategies to manage currency exposure and mitigate risk for the bank and its clients

The Senior Portfolio Management Officer (SPMO) is responsible for the ongoing management and primary accountability for all monitoring and maintenance activities for an assigned portfolio of commercial real estate loans, primarily consisting of larger/complex client relationships. This role completes credit monitoring responsibilities with minimal oversight from the CPM/SCPM and demonstrates strong judgment, sound credit decisioning skills and is an active participant with the Credit Team in the credit approval process for complex clients/transactions. They monitor the operating performance and financial conditions of existing commercial real estate facilities to proactively meet scheduled monitoring deadlines and identify issues and opportunities. SPMOs deliver financial, industry, economic and other analysis to facilitate decision making and inform risk rating recommendations, while also ensuring adherence to credit policies, guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements. Additionally, the SPMO is responsible for providing underwriting analysis and approval recommendations for various Borrower requests related to assigned client base/facilities. They report to the Senior Credit Products Manager (SCPM) or Credit Products Manager (CPM) and partner closely with the Credit Team (Credit Risk Manager (CRM), Relationship Managers (RM), Credit Officers (CO), and Underwriters (UW)) to ensure Client needs/requests are being addressed. The SPMO provides ongoing coaching and support to other Credit Products team members.

Through examinations and monitoring, Credit Review provides an independent assessment of the quality of credit decisioning, portfolio management, risk recognition practices and the effectiveness of credit processes across the bank’s credit platform, identifies existing and emerging risks, and reports its findings to various stakeholders, including executive management, the Board of Directors or committee thereof, external auditors and regulatory agencies.
This job is responsible for establishing and executing a risk-based coverage plan to monitor the leveraged lending/leveraged finance portfolio within Enterprise Credit. Key responsibilities include serving as a subject matter expert in Credit Review, developing and executing a risk-based coverage plan to monitor and examine the portfolio, and performing and reviewing transactional testing of credit process execution controls of new and existing clients to evaluate appropriateness of client selection, adherence to underwriting expectations, quality of ongoing monitoring and risk rating accuracy to proactively identify emerging risks and their impact on portfolio credit quality. This role includes providing updates to business leaders and executive management on continuous testing and examination results, new issues and emerging risks.
