Responsibilities:

  • Support BAU day to day operational activity within BofA data hall in Hong Kong as well as some remote support to smaller locations
  • Install and provision hardware and software systems in the data center environment.
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks such as power, cooling and cabling maintenance activities.
  • Monitor data center performance and capacity utilization, and proactively identifying and addressing issues to minimize downtime and disruption.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to understand and meet incoming demand for space, power, and cooling. Plan data center capacity and drive regional strategy in growth and de-risk.
  • Manage data center security measures, including access controls, environment monitoring and surveillance systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the deployment and operation of new services and applications in the data center.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and diagrams. Provide support to management reporting and audit responses from internal control teams and regulators.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolving data center related issues escalated by other teams
  • Work on shift scheduled to oversee activities in data hall and able to participate in shift based weekend activities

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in working as a data center engineer in large skill enterprise
  • Strong understanding of data center technologies as well as network and computing technologies
  • Familiar with data center management tools and software
  • Excellence problem solving, analytical skills and ability work effectively under pressure in highly regulated environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability collaborate effectively with partner teams and vendors
  • Knowledge of data hall cabling best practices and experience in working with cabling infrastructure

  • Global Markets Credit (GMC) organization is responsible for credit underwriting, approval and ongoing risk management of Global Markets (GM) financing and traded products transactions. Based in Hong Kong, the role is in GM Credit Asia, responsible for all aspects of the credit risk management for the following two key businesses within Asia Pacific (including Japan).
  • SPV repacks (Derivatives) related:
    • SPV repacks business is focused on derivative credit exposure facing bankruptcy-remote SPV established for purpose of issuing Credit Linked Notes (CLNs) or Asset Repackaging Notes (Repacks). Key responsibilities will include.
    • Conducting comprehensive credit review including underlying issuer and derivative exposure analysis, preparing Credit Underwriting Memos with approval recommendations for all trading exposures related to SPVs.
    • Identifying risk in complex credit proposals and structures, suggesting approximate risk mitigants.
    • Ongoing transaction and charged asset risk monitoring, ensuring any deterioration in the charged asset portfolio is identified and escalated for suitable timely action.
    • Undertake portfolio reviews and develop/generate reports highlighting key portfolio risk and sensitivities.
  • Structured Financing Lending Transactions (SFT excld. securitization) related:
    • SFT business provides both recourse or non-recourse financings, collateralized by equity (single stock or portfolio of stocks) or fixed income (Bonds, Loans etc). Key responsibilities will include.
    • Credit Review of transaction proposals, undertaking credit and collateral issuer analysis, preparing Credit Underwriting Memos with approval recommendations.
    • Preparation of portfolio reports and credit reviews, including analysis of SFT exposures, any counterparties of concern and other pertinent risk issues.
    • Monitor macro, sector and issuer specific market trends so as to ensure any early warning or risk indicator for the portfolio is identified and escalated for suitable timely action.

Skills:

  • 2-8 years of credit risk experience covering Corporates or FIs.
  • Strong credit risk analysis and conclusion-oriented analytical skills. A deep understanding as well as exposure to the derivative and financing space
  • Master degree in Finance, Business Administration or related fields. CFA/FRM or other professional qualification will be highly preferred
  • Good written and spoken communications skills in English

Key responsibilities include managing complex projects and workstreams involving systems enhancements, process improvements, products and services. Job expectations include serving as a subject matter expert to other teammates and handling highly complex issues that require management and coordination across multiple stakeholders.

The Regulatory Reporting Operational Senior Professional is responsible for position monitoring, preparation and delivery of non-financial regulatory disclosures under the relevant regulatory reporting laws across multiple regimes including (substantial shareholdings, takeovers, short positions, beneficial ownership notices and industry limits) for the Global Markets and Wealth Management business divisions. They are responsible for the analysis and resolution of highly complex operations problems and initiatives requiring exceptional handling and/or coordination of multiple operational and/or product specialists to resolve. They will be required to contribute to various projects and/or the introduction of new initiatives, systems, products/services, and processes and coordinate necessary expertise across multiple operations functions and/or products.
