Overall Purpose:

  • Agile coaches are industry-certified change agents who combine their technical knowledge of lean-agile values, principles, and practices with an intrinsic motivation to improve AT&T's software, systems, and Agile business processes.
  • They are experts in helping teams & organizations mature in the use of agile principles and practices. They promote consistent behaviors and provide guidance to drive maturity. Agile Coaches guide and help teams on both the product and delivery side.
  • An Agile Coach may function at varying levels depending on individual skill and experience combined with need of the engagement.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Embodying a Lean-Agile Mindset and Behaviors. Leading change by communicating vision, maintaining transformation backlogs, creating and supporting coaching plans with customers, and helping launch exemplar Communities of Practice. Implement Agile at Scale, through training, organizing around value, coaching team-of-team launches, and supporting creation of Lean Agile Centers of Excellence (LACEs).
  • Coaching Flow by guiding team-of-teams in ways to capture, visualize, and interpret flow metrics. Provide leaders with recommendations to improve flow. Accelerate Business Agility through regular assessments and coaching leaders of interpretation and application for continuous improvement.
  • Lead Agile Coach leads engagements intended to achieve customer-defined outcomes by applying Lean-Agile practices throughout their organization. This includes consultations, instruction, and assessments related to improving Business Agility, Flow, and Competency. Lead Agile Coach may mentor Senior Agile Coaches to help develop their skills in real time.

Education and Experience:

  • Preferred Bachelor's of Science degree in any Technical, Engineering, Information Systems or related fields; Developer nanodegree; or equivalent experience.
  • Typically requires 5-8 years' experience in Agile roles (Adv SM/PO, RTE/STE).
  • SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) current version required.

Our Lead Agile Coach, earns between$128,400.00 - $215,800.00USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.

Description:

Key Roles and Responsibilities:This role acts as the liaison between the assigned client organization, training vendors and the Learning and Development organization.

  • Responsible for understanding the client’s business goals and identifying training solutions to improve business results.
  • Proactively identifies employee performance improvement opportunities that enable employees to perform their jobs and deliver business results. Responsible for recommending training, administering the training plan, and overseeing all training programs for the client organization.
  • Provides consultation to client leadership on all aspects of training, including determining priorities and influencing budgets.
  • Leads the design strategy and implementation of performance improvement projects/interventions.
  • May project manage training design projects or project teams.

Education/Experience:Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 5+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.
