  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex technical challenges.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support internal clients in English.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in programming languages: PHP, JavaScript, ColdFusion, Python, Perl.
  • Familiarity with Unix and Linux commands and structure.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel macros (VBA is a plus).
  • Knowledge of databases: MS SQL and Oracle.
  • Skills in Power Automate and Power BI (including BOT creation).
  • Strong organizational planning and follow-up skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to read and code in various programming languages.

Working Hours:

  • Monday through Friday - EMEA afternoon/later afternoon shift
  • Flexible shift within 13:00 - 01:00 hrs. window.
  • No rotation currently unless the position changes.
  • Return to Office will follow country and international standards.

Salary starting fromgross monthly. The actual offered salary may be considerably higher based on your skills, knowledge and experience.

  • Network Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor network performance, perform routine maintenance, optimize operations, and proactively maintain system configurations using alarm and KPI monitoring.
  • Configuration and Deployment: Configure network devices, deploy network solutions, manage configurations, and implement vendor/IT fixes or design changes.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Work with teams, coordinate with vendors, support projects, collaborate with business partners in DevOps, and interact with customers.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain documentation, create technical and process documentation, review and interpret technical and vendor specifications, and generate reports.
  • Technical support for network platform issues, performing alarm monitoring, and assisting with the investigation and remediation of network faults.

Qualifications:

  • VoIP Experience: Mandatory for this senior position.
  • UNIX/Linux Skills: CLI basics required; extended and/or scripting is strongly preferred.
  • IP Networking Skills: Strong knowledge from L2 up to SIP/RTP/RTCP.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience troubleshooting in an IP network consisting of L2, L3 devices, and application servers (including basics of virtualization) within an operations production environment.
  • Skills: Must have organizational skills, ability to multitask, and strong interpersonal skills. Willingness to own issues until problems are resolved. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Additional Experience: Experience with ticketing systems, TDM (legacy voice) network, 4/5ESS switching, SS7 signaling, and circuits will be considered an advantage.

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented T3 Circuit Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will focus on maintaining and troubleshooting DS3-based T3 carrier circuits. Your responsibilities will include monitoring performance data and alarms, initiating restoration activities, and collaborating with field technicians to resolve issues quickly. You will also communicate with network elements via TL1, among other protocols. Comprehensive, on-the-job training is provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Analyze performance data and alarms to rapidly isolate and resolve issues within our T3 carrier circuits. Initiate restoration and repair activities to ensure continuous and reliable service.
  • Collaboration with Field Technicians: Work closely with field technicians in central offices to identify issues on-site and support efficient troubleshooting and repair operations.
  • Equipment Handling: Operate and maintain digital cross-connect systems (DCS) and multiplexers that support our DS3-based T3 circuits. You will work on equipment from vendors such as Alcatel-Lucent, Nortel, Fujitsu, and others, ensuring smooth circuit operation.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of diagnostic results, repair actions, and performance metrics to support continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Aptitude: A basic understanding of telecommunications principles, particularly DS3-based T3 carrier circuits. Previous experience is welcomed, but comprehensive training will be provided on the job.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze performance data and alarms, isolate complex issues, and implement effective troubleshooting solutions.

Training and Development:

Compensation:
