Job Description - Armis Resident Engineer

The Armis Resident Engineer will be responsible for full platform management, including, but not limited, to the following activities:

  • Understand the customer’s key use cases and security goals
  • Collaborate with the customer’s technical team to refine and translate complex requirements into expected deliverables for each stakeholder
  • Develop dashboards, dashlets, and reports that align with business requirements
  • Spearhead deployment and expansion of the customer’s Armis platform
  • Ensure operational uptime of the platform
  • Perform deployment health checks
  • Understand how the customer is utilizing the Armis platform and recommend additional features that can be leveraged to improve their security posture
  • Apply analytical skills and technical knowledge to solve product and network problems
  • Collaborate with the customer’s technical teams to develop and build out use case playbooks
  • Maintain knowledge of 3rd Party solutions and integrations with the Armis platform within the assigned customer environment
  • Drive customer adoption
  • Collaborate with internal Armis resources to drive account success
  • Build trusted relationships with relevant, technical users and stakeholders
  • Provide technical product training
  • Deliver metrics, monthly status reports, and support the Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Identify product expansion opportunities

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years as a Resident Engineer, Professional Services Engineer, Consultant, or IT/Operations Engineer
  • 6+ years designing, deploying, configuring, supporting, troubleshooting, and debugging SaaS deployments
  • 6+ years in network engineering, architecture, or network design
  • 6+ years experience working in Security/IT
  • Applied knowledge of the networking industry, products, and protocols.
  • Track record of successful problem solving and delivering known solutions with a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work effectively in an interrupt driven environment with limited or ambiguous direction
  • Proactive
  • Customer first attitude
  • Ability to travel as needed (exception: Centers of Excellence locations)

Technical Skills

  • B.S in IT, IS, CS, MIS, (or equivalent degree)
  • Moderate understanding of API based security and compliance standards
  • Good level of experience in Cyber Security (Endpoint, SOAR, SIEM)
  • Linux Operating System basic operation and troubleshooting (i.e. Redhat Linux / CentOS)
  • Moderate understanding of Python, C, C++
  • Moderate level of networking experience (LAN/WAN, Routing/Switching protocols, Network Security)

  • Drive customer adoption
  • Collaborate with internal Armis resources to drive account success
  • Build trusted relationships with relevant, technical users and stakeholders
  • Provide technical product training

Our Tier 2 Technical Support Engineer will provide second level support with a focus on our US based customers. As part of our Engineers based in the US, you’ll help pave the way as the knowledge source to our growing customer base, as you will work to resolve our customers’ most pressing technical issues. You will apply your creativity and innovative ideas that best support and create a lasting experience for our customers.

As part of your day-to-day, you’ll take ownership of customer cases and troubleshoot customers’ issues. You will support our customers in making the most of our products. You will be taking on projects either within/with other teams to create a company-wide impact.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Industry experience in Cyber Security, particularly network security or application security is required
  • Experience with enterprise customer accounts is required
  • Technical networking knowledge in TCP/IP and the application layer
  • Technical experience supporting Linux-based products
  • Composing SQL queries and working with Databases
  • Working with Docker/Kubernetes-based environments is preferred
  • Experience with Scripting languages (Bash, Python or equivalent) is preferred
  • BS degree in CS or equivalent is preferred
  • Enjoy working with customers using excellent communication and problem-solving skills
