This position will provide an innovative and creative professional with the chance to work in one of the leading technology industries. In this role, you will be joining a dynamic team responsible for leading product design, requirement analyses, development, maintenance, and verification of complex designs used in safety-critical applications.
As a Principal Functional Safety Engineer, you will have the chance to lead safety-oriented design and implementation to ensure that safety-critical products comply with the relevant applicable functional safety standards. This will include verifying designs, contributing to safety assessments, and guiding the activities of the team to ensure they meet the required safety goals.
You will be armed with a keen understanding of applicable functional safety standards including IEC 61508, ISO 26262, and EN 50128. This knowledge coupled with your experience in safety-critical industry constraints and experience of product designs.
You will be a team player, working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders such as operations, hardware, software, firmware, and test in order to ensure all designs meet the set safety standards. You will also have excellent communication and influencing skills that will help in planning and presenting safety-critical products.
