Key Responsibilities
Support specific project and program objectives as defined in the areas of responsibility, and that necessary preliminary activities (e.g., determination of outcomes, milestones, viability studies, and resource planning, among others) are completed.
Support projects and programs assigned are completed in accordance with predetermined requirements, with specific attention to product/process specifications, project/program costs, resource utilization, and timeliness for completion.
Ensures that all phases of project, program and/or process development are documented and that information required in other functional areas is reported, disseminated, or transferred, as appropriate. Ensures compliance with Company policies regarding Engineering/Lab notebooks, patents, confidentiality and safety.
Undertake study of new technologies, as appropriate.
Support data collection for materials & financial resources.
Other Requirements:This position may require standing for extended periods of time, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, lifting, the ability to distinguish between colors, the ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise, and the use of hand and power tools.
Additionally, because this position also may involve working in a clean room, the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields may be required.

About Our Program
Engineer Development Programprovides training onroutine assignments under the guidance of senior engineers. You will develop competence in the role by performing structured work assignments while using existing procedures to solve both routine and standard problems.As part of the development program, you will build strong working relationships across teamsand participate in hands-on projects and technical seminars to build your skills and career pathin the fast-growing semiconductor industry.
RoleResponsibilities:
In support of design projects, coordinate the procurement and assembly of mechanical components/equipment and identify sources of critical parts and subsystems to resolve basic technical issues
Design or modify mechanical engineering layouts/schematics, and/or detaileddrawings/specificationsof limited scope under direct supervision
Perform and document engineering test reports under direct supervision
Generate related alpha/gamma documentation for product release under direct supervision
Perform engineering analysis under direct supervision
Troubleshoots a variety of mechanical problems of general difficulty under direct supervision
Effective use of engineering processes in the resolution of basic mechanical problems of limited scope
May be responsible for the design,development,and implementation of custom mechanical tooling, fixturing, and associated processes to enable the handling, assembly and/or disassembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies,and final assemblies throughout the product life cycle
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduating with a PhDdegree inMechanical Engineeringor a related field
Good academic standing with a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale

Previous internship or related field experience
Demonstrated leadership experience
Able to solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions

During a series of rotations, participants will take on full-time responsibility of their functional role, which includes:

in inspection/auditing oflaboratory environmentto detectexisting andpotential hazards; recommends corrective or preventative measuresandcollaborateon
