• Assist with the accurate and timely filing of various corporate government filings, including federal, state, and local tax returns, prepare and review tax workpapers, reconciliations, and supporting documentation

Required Experience and Education

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with quarterly and annual income tax provisions under ASC 740, focusing on U.S. international tax aspects
• Assist with the preparation and review of U.S. international income tax compliance, including Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 8990, 8991, 8992, 8993, 1118, 8621, 926, and U.S. withholding tax returns

Key Responsibilities

Interpret, analyze, and present metrics/KPIs to Management. Drive corrective actions with appropriate groups to improve metrics and address exceptions.

Weekly review of process control exceptions that result in reported distribution quality non-conformance issues. Develop and document root cause and corrective actions, and work with outsourced and regional logistics partners to implement. Prepares, reviews & approves files for import/export documents such as customs declarations, (SLI) shippers letter of instruction, SED (shipper's export declaration), IC (import certificate), etc. required for the lawful completion of import/export activities. Audits and reviews, ensuring that commercial and sales invoices are accurate in accordance with physical shipment and customer's SLI, quantities, value of goods, country of origin, and other regulatory requirements. Administers the efficient and economical movement of goods in compliance with relevant local, country and international customs laws and processes.

Key Responsibilities

The Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) Specialist will ensure compliance with FTZ regulations, manage daily reporting for all inbound and outbound movement and communication with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to facilitate FTZ trade operations.

Foreign Trade Zone Functions:

• Ensure all FTZ operations adhere to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations and FTZ program requirements.

• Serve as liaison with other functional areas within the organization to ensure the information systems are maintained, updated and accurate for FTZ reporting and compliance purposes.

• Maintain accurate records of all FTZ activities, including merchandise admissions, inventory movements, and exports.

• Responsible for updating and maintaining CBP Procedures Manual, Process Flows, SOPs, RACI Matrix.

US Foreign Trade Zone Specialist

This role will report to the Director of Global Freight and Transportation. The Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) Special will ensure compliance with FTZ regulations, manage inventory, and coordinate with Trade Operations to facilitate international trade operations. In addition to specific FTZ expertise, this role requires a broad level of experience in and understanding of the various global and regional transportation modes (Bulk Air, Ocean, Small Parcel, and Bulk Ground) and support functions (TMS, Control Towers, and developing training materials).
