As a CPU Implementation Lead Engineer, you will own or participate in the following: • CPU IP delivery. • Work with multi-functional engineering teams to implement and validate physical design in the aspects of timing, power, area, electrical analysis, functionality, reliability, and testability.• Work extensively with the partition implementation team to make area/frequency/performance/power tradeoffs and remove bottlenecks in meeting design targets and delivery schedule.• Participate in the definition and enhancement of RTL-to-GDS flow through synthesis and place-and-route targeting aggressive targets for power, performance, and area.• Mentor junior engineers.
  • Minimum BS and 10+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Experience in driving chip implementation from definition phase to silicon correlation
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams spanning technology, architecture, RTL & Physical design
  • Experience in synthesis & place-and-route
  • Familiarity with high performance microprocessor architecture fundamentals
  • Experience in leading initiatives for improving power, performance, & area on CPUs
  • Knowledge of logic design principles along with timing and power implications
  • Understanding of low power microarchitecture and implementation techniques
  • Experience with scripting in Perl and/or TCL
  • Design experience in deep submicron technologies and basic transistor level design and device physics

  • Serve as the main onsite contact for operations for events taking place within this market.
  • Develop an operations manual and way of working within the facility. Align to ensure all processes and procedures are in line with the overall processes of Worldwide Events production facilities.
  • Interface with various Apple cross-functional partners and production vendors to ensure the NY facility’s processes are followed and adhered to.
  • Interface with Worldwide Events team to support PR activities in NY.
  • Support all aspects of events at this facility from planning, load-in, load-out and execution of the event. This also includes preplanning documentation, manuals, schedules, and maintenance in the down times between events.
  • Liaison with Places Team to make sure the venue is being operated and cared for within the normal facilities guidelines.
  • Participate in production and operations and cross-functional meetings to support any NY PR and event initiatives.
  • Ensures all events and projects within venue adhere to city guidelines and Apple EHS standards.
  • 5+ years experience in venue management / venue operations.
  • Organizational expertise in creating and carrying out high-level operational plans for production facilities/event venues.
  • This role requires positive relationships with production vendors and cross-functional partners.
  • Experience leading live events and/or film/theatrical productions.
  • Experience supporting short or long-term venue construction projects.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, written and verbal, to all levels of an organization.
