Silicon Validation Software Engineer with Embedded Low Level Programming Role at Apple in United States, San Diego
As a Silicon Validation Software Engineer with an embedded low-level programming role at Apple in United States, San Diego, you’ll be working on the forefront of cutting-edge technology, testing and validating system-level firmware and software components of Apple’s latest products. This is an excellent opportunity to design and develop automated test systems, develop and integrate test frameworks.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing tools to detect regressions and isolate issues in system software and hardware all the way through independent validation. You will also be working on components such as Boot ROM, Security, CPU, and GPU drivers.
To be successful in this role, you should have experience in developing firmware for embedded systems and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Experience using scripting languages such as Python or Bash is preferred. You will also need strong debugging skills and expertise in system evaluation and failure analysis.
You should also be comfortable working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment and have a passion for staying up to date on the latest technologies. Candidates who are excited about the opportunity to use their skills to make a difference and design amazing user experiences are ideal.
