Expoint is proud to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineering Project Manager (Software Delivery) at Apple in San Diego, USA. This role is key to the ongoing success of Apple's software delivery practices, working with a broad range of product engineering, development, and operations teams.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving delivery performance by supporting a wide variety of engineering projects and software products. As a Project Manager, you will be involved in all aspects of software release management, from initial product strategy and requirements, to release schedule and quality control. You will need to be highly organized and able to effectively communicate with a variety of teams and leaders in order to ensure the successful completion of projects on time and within budget.
You will also be responsible for developing, managing, and executing the software release schedule for the design, coding, patch and fix phases. You will need to interact with multiple stakeholders to ensure quality and be comfortable working in Agile teams. Additionally, you will need to understand deployment strategies in order to ensure successful performance across multiple platforms.
A successful applicant will have strong project management experience and demonstrated problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and capacity to work with global teams. Strong technical knowledge and an understanding of software engineering concepts are essential.
