As an Analog Mixed-Signal Behavioral Modeling Engineer, you will develop and maintain models of and behavioral specifications for analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits. You will work with circuit designers, digital verification engineers and system engineers to develop and manage trade-off studies that define circuit specifications, as well as generate simulations, plots, and reports.
In addition, you will utilize behavioral modeling languages such as Verilog-AMS and ModelSim-AMS to create behavioral models for digital and analog mixed-signal macro blocks and IPs. These models and specifications will be necessary for the successful performance of the products developed by Apple.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have an in-depth understanding of analog and mixed-signal design techniques, a proficiency in digital design methods, and prior experience in modeling and/or simulation. A firm grasp of scripting and programming languages such as Perl, Python, Matlab, etc. is also necessary.
