On the Siri team, you will work alongside a fast-growing team of world-class engineers and scientists to tackle core problems in dialog systems and foundation models—ranging from natural language understanding and multi-turn context tracking, to the integration of speech, text, and other modalities.You will develop and deploy novel deep learning technologies that make Siri more intelligent, natural, and useful. Your work will contribute to both academic research and real-world impact, improving the everyday experience of millions of users.
- Demonstrated expertise in deep learning with publication record in relevant conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, KDD, ACL, ICASSP, InterSpeech) or a track record in applying deep learning techniques to products
- Proficient programming skills in Python and one of the deep learning toolkits such as JAX, PyTorch, or Tensorflow
- Masters Degree or PhD in Computer Science, or other technical field, or equivalent industry experience
- Experience with conversational AI
- Experience with multimodal LLM
- Experience with large scale machine learning training/evaluation
- Data-centric vision about foundation model

- Proven experience architecting and delivering complex, user-facing applications with a strong focus on the user interface.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate machine learning models or AI-driven logic into polished, consumer-facing product features.
- Experience leading the technical design and architecture of new features, from concept and prototyping through to release.
- A strong foundation in software engineering principles, including data structures, software architecture, and a proven ability to solve complex problems within a cross-functional team.
- Expertise with modern, declarative UI frameworks (e.g., SwiftUI) to build sophisticated and performant interfaces.
- Experience with media or graphics-rendering pipelines and frameworks (e.g., AVKit, Core Animation, Metal).

The role involves the creation and maintenance of a high-performance C++ model of our next-generation GPUs. Core responsibilities include coding and debugging a performance and functional model of the GPU; implementing modern features such as ray tracing, mesh shading, machine learning, and more. Other responsibilities include working with the team to ensure model accuracy, feature validation and correlating against other models and RTL. You’ll utilize and develop diverse tools for analyzing the substantial amount of data generated by the models. You will collaborate with experienced architects, modeling engineers, compiler engineers, and software teams to assess the feasibility of new hardware and software features, running performance experiments, analyzing results, and proposing architectural changes.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Software skills and ability to write and debug C++ code

- MS or PhD degree in related field
