THE ROLE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING MAIN DUTIES:• Manage the internal cross function team to complete pretest. • Generate test plan for regional compliance requirement. • Perform RF/EMC/SAR test in country. • Debug RF issue during the test. • Obtain regulatory compliance certifications in region on time. • Attend RF/EMC/OTA/SAR etc. regulatory compliance standard meeting. • Tracking regulatory compliance requirement in APAC region, including label, manual and RF test spec update. • Work with test lab and government officials/regulators to reduce regulatory approval leading time.• Work with government officials/regulators to influence standards and laws in Apple’s and consumer’s favor.• Manage the market surveillance. • Communicate between standard engineering, software engineering, hardware engineering internally.

- Knowledge and experience package assembly process, materials, and equipment. Experience driving development of new enabling technology and roadmaps.
- Strong IC packaging materials background including characterization and failure analysis.

In this highly visible technical quality lead role, you will be the resident factory expert in manufacturing process, yields and overall factory readiness for mass production, combining knowledge of Display and Display related components to deliver results on a tight timeline.
- Business level proficiency in verbal and written English
- General knowledge of End-to-End quality control with familiarity and expertise for Smart Quality activities (Quality 4.0)
- Experience with statistical analysis and data visualization tools (JMP, Tableau, etc.) and ability to simplify complex problems
- Hands on experience on failure analysis in Display related field and general understanding of DOE principles
- Hands on experience with Failure analysis tools (FIB-SEM, AFM, FTIR, CT-scan, etc.) to drive complex failure analysis
- B.S or B. Engineering or proven experience in related engineering field
- Strong ability for teamwork and collaboration
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to concisely understand and communicate issues and lead cross functional teams to solution
- Willingness to be flexible, manage multiple activities, and frequently pivot to new tasks and responsibilities
- Experience with Roll-to-Roll manufacturing processes and quality control
- Experience with external supplier for program management
- Proficiency in Korean or Japanese Language is a plus
- Flexibility for business travel in Korea/Japan and other countries
- Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and its application experience is a plus
