Description:
You will work cross-functionally with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to develop and integrate best in class automation tools. You will be responsible for driving the end to end design and development of robotics and test stations. The workflow requires active involvement in refining and interpreting test requirements, defining test methods, and continuously improving our test infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring that the test stations developed are scalable and modular, supporting a variety of applications over a 2–3 year product roadmap.
  • B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Engineering, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent and 3 years of industry experience
  • Experience in designing, integrating and testing CNC machinery or robotics systems.
  • Experience in designing mechanical test fixtures.
  • Experience with mechanical CAD/CAM software (Solidworks, Siemens NX or similar).
  • Ability to proficiently create and interpret mechanical/electrical technical drawings.
  • Basic knowledge of programming (C++, Python).
  • Proficient in prototyping using hand tools and general workshop equipment (drill, lathe, mill, etc).
  • Self-starter and motivator with good written and verbal communication (+presentation) skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within various levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent organisational and documentation skills.
  • Experience with other languages a plus (C/C++, MatLab or similar)
  • Experience working in manufacturing environment
  • Basic knowledge of Inductive or Wireless Power Transfer is an advantage
