At Apple, we are looking for an embedded firmware engineering intern in Auckland, New Zealand. The intern will join our team of software and embedded engineers to develop mobile and web applications that will help our consumers have an unparalleled experience.
As an intern, you will use your technical skills in embedded system design and development to create reliable, secure, and cost-effective solutions. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and tools, such as C, C++, Firmware, MCU, OpenCL, etc., while gaining cross-industry experience. You should be familiar with firmware engineering principles and architectures, good source code organization techniques, and be able to quickly adapt to different coding styles.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: developing and troubleshooting existing software and firmware applications, writing and maintaining new embedded applications, test automation, and providing technical support for our products.
