As an L1 / PHY Control Systems Engineer, you will be part of the L1 & PHY Control team responsible for driving the development and implementation of control systems capabilities from initial requirements to successful products. As a multi-functional role, you will be executing various aspects of development, including design, architecture, firmware programming, prototyping, testing, integration, validation, and deployment.
Within this role, you will use your understanding of digital control systems to design and implement state-of-the-art, reliable, and robust control systems. You will be expected to have experience with communication theory, signal processing, control theory, and digital signal processing. Additionally, you should have a deep understanding of microprocessor and microcontroller development, hardware-software co-development, and embedded system design to deliver the most complex automotive, aerospace, and consumer products.
You should have demonstrated experience in developing computation-intensive digital systems, analyzing and predicting performance of the system, and finding creative solutions to improve system performance. You should have a good understanding of software development life cycles and object-oriented programming in C++, as well as the ability to bring up, debug, and analyze embedded systems.
