- Preparing concise and detailed test plans and test reports- Development of new reliability tests procedures and specifications- Statistical data analysis to provide risk assessments of a design- Researching a technology to determine possible failure modes- Prioritizing and completing tasks to meet deadlines- Providing design input to improve product reliability when necessary
- Experience performing reliability testing including Mechanical Stress, Environmental, and AATCC type tests.
- Quantifying subjective characteristics and establishing clear pass/fail criteria
- Ability to use fundamental failure analysis methodology to derive a root cause of failure
- Knowledge of industry test Standards (AATCC, JEDEC, ASTM)
- Solid understanding of mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies
- Application of DOE (design of Experiments)
- Application of FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- BS or MS in ME/EE/Materials/Textile Engineering in a related field or industry
- Experience in consumer electronics product reliability testing preferred
- Exceptional problem solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Ability to complete tests and resolve problems independently
- Flexibility, adaptability and eagerness to accept new tasks
- Dynamic and “can do” attitude engineer with the desire to work with a great team and challenging products
- Fresh graduate with AL/ML knowledge is also welcome

Description:
Apple is looking for a Trade Compliance Specialist to located in Shanghai, China to take on a role primarily to manage trade compliance escalations and customs related issues.
- Support in OEM / manufacturing supplier management on the customs related critical issues.- Support in Customs audit and other internal and external enquiry / investigation.
- Bachelor or Master degree in International Trade, Customs, Supply Chain or related field;
- Strong knowledge of Greater China Customs and import/export laws and regulations;
- Knowledge of tariff classification, customs valuation, country of origin and other customs technical area;
- Knowledge from regulatory and operational experience in relation to China Inspection and Quarantine;
- Strong experience / knowledge of processing trade, duty-free equipment supervision and bonded zone operations in relation to OEM’s operation in China is preferred;
- Proven ability to efficiently coordinate with customs and other local authorities and experts to successfully resolve queries;
- Skills to work with internal teams and external partners on problem resolving and case handling efficiently;
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written in English and Mandarin;
- Highly motivated with the drive to work as part of a team and independently to make effective decisions in a timely manner.
- 1-2 years of customs and trade compliance related work or internship (minimum 3 months full time) experience is preferred.
