Expoint is looking for an experienced and motivated Software Development Engineer to join the Prime Video team at Amazon. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining code for Prime Video’s content streaming services. The engineer will work with cutting-edge technology, utilizing broad engineering capabilities to build high performance services. The ideal Software Development Engineer should possess a degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a track record of success in engineering and software development. Strong coding and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to develop software in Java and other languages is a must. The engineer must be able to work independently, but also collaborate effectively with other team members, including those in various departments located around the world. In addition to robust coding skills, an understanding of Amazon Web Services (Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, etc.) would also be beneficial. Use of 1 or more cloud technologies would be a plus.
