This role is for a Software Development Engineer who will build new cloud services and APIs that facilitate and orchestrate the Kuiper AI Foundations—enabling intelligent software operation across Kuiper devices such as satellites, ground gateways, and customer terminals. You will design and deliver low-latency, highly scalable architectures that are critical to providing high-quality internet service and AI capabilities to customers.

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

Key job responsibilities
- Daily building rounds to monitor and record information from electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment to ensure 24/7 reliability and availability
- Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS)
- Assist in troubleshooting of facility and rack-level events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA)
- Perform rack installs and rack decommissioning within internal SLA
- Perform PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment

• Be the first point of contact between production, test, and design teams for operational support and triage of issues regarding hardware testing and manufacturing.
• Work to optimize manufacturing test flows for avionics systems, improving quality, efficiency, rate, and overall robustness of the process flow.

You will support the overall manufacturing test flow and strive for process excellence, looking for opportunities to improve yield and efficiency.
