You will play a key role to drive end-to-end solutions from understanding our business and business requirements, identifying opportunities from a large amount of historical data and engaging in cutting-edge research to solve the business problems. You’ll seek to create value for both stakeholders and customers and inform findings in a clear, actionable way to managers and senior leaders. You will be at the heart of an agile and growing area at Audible.
As a Data Scientist, you will...- Perform content evaluation, apply natural language processing, analyze attributes and representations (in text, audio, cover art), generate content recommendations, and identify trends
- Conduct product-related analyses including user click stream analysis, search engine optimization, and product recommendations
- Evaluate marketing performance across earned, paid, and owned media evaluationABOUT AUDIBLE

Basic Qualifications

- Currently pursuing a MS/PhD in computer science, statistics, mathematics, operations research, data science, economics, or another discipline involving experimental design and quantitative analysis of experimental data
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with machine learning, predictive modeling, and/or statistical analysis techniques
- Development experience with Python or equivalent scripting languages
- Experience in extracting data using SQL


Preferred Qualifications

- Exposure to software engineering environments (version control, command line)
- Machine Learning Pipeline orchestration with AWS (SageMaker, Batch, Lambda, Step Functions) or similar cloud-platforms
- Experience with causal inference methodologies for quasi-experimental settings (Synthetic Control, Difference-in-Difference, Regression Discontinuity, Propensity weighting)
- Experience in forecasting methodologies
- Ability to tackle very loosely defined problems and consistently deliver elegant, modular and scalable solutions in a timely manner

Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.As the Sr. SAP Plant Maintenance Lead, you will manage the design, development and implementation of SAP Plant Maintenance projects and new functionalities within the Kuiper Enterprise Systems (ERP : S4 HANA) that allow for the rapid development and production of Space Hardware and reliability of equipment used to manufacture the same. The implementation of these systems are critical to scalability and cost effective business operations. We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced, start-up like environment. To be successful you need to be highly motivated and detail oriented while showing highest standards of execution.You will collaborate with business customers, companion system functional owners, solution architects and other personnel to develop dynamic and dependable systems to meet the emerging demands of internal customers in manufacturing. Develop Business requirements documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications (FS) and review test documentation. Work in compliance with the programming and documentation standards and solve production problems in a timely manner.
Key job responsibilities
- Build SAP PM based solution and handle all the deployment related activities. Build reports and deploy. Integration with MES Shop Floor Systems.
- Active participation in Requirements gathering, Functional Specifications, High Level Documentation, Integration Test, User Acceptance Test and go-lives to ensure success and meet customer requirements.- Building Proof of Concepts (POCs) in lower tier environments based on the business requirements
- Support improvement for integration areas including SAP PP, QM, MM, and Scheduling.
- Develop requirements and Functional Specs for Fiori Applications in the PM space
- Support various testing procedures (Unit testing, Integration testing, automated test scripts).A day in the life
You will conduct defect analysis and perform necessary fixes and improvements for any bugs witnessed in production. Collaborate with functional owners, architects and other personnel to develop dynamic and flexible systems to meet the emerging demands of internal customers in manufacturing and maintenance. Develop functional specification and estimations for assigned projects. Work in compliance with the programming and documentation standards and solve production problems in a timely manner.

* Scale out an integrated go-to-market team in a highly complex environment

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

He/She will think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. * Have a keen sense of ownership, drive, and scrappiness are critical. * The right person will be technical and analytical, and possess at least 10-15 years of executive leadership experience in sales. * Have existing CXO relationships, with a large network in more than one industry. * Strong leadership skills are key, with superior verbal and written communications skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations. * Relevant technical knowledge is helpful, including in areas such as: database systems, IoT, core distributed computing concepts, fundamentals of cloud computing and virtualization, storage systems, etc. * The ability to go deep on relevant trends in the PE industry and understand the world of this customer segment. * A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
