The AV Support Engineer will be responsible for supporting the audio video (AV) operations of Amazon, and ensuring the smooth operation of AV equipment and media production. The successful candidate will need an eye for detail and be adaptive to changing tech industry requirements. The AV Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for a range of AV systems and equipment as well as maintain and install electronics both in-house and in clients' homes or businesses. The AV Support Engineer will also work on researching and implementing AV solutions while adhering to Amazon's established protocols. The successful candidate will need to have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, the ability to multi-task and remain organized, a solid understanding of electronics, and proficiency with computer programs. The candidate will need to be able to diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware errors and keep all AV systems up-to-date. In addition, the AV Support Engineer will be expected to understand complex AV installation and operating requirements as well as maintain comprehensive documentation of work performed. They should also be able to coordinate with other engineers on the team to ensure proper performance of the AV systems.
