Key job responsibilities
• Provide technical leadership for large-scale engineering projects, retrofits, and building designs

A typical day involves diving into CAD software to create and refine delivery station layouts. You'll analyze high-level demand projections to inform design decisions, ensuring future scalability. Expect to juggle multiple projects, participating in design review meetings and coordinating with architects and civil engineering on detail drawings. You'll troubleshoot design challenges, conduct capacity analyses, and stay updated on industry innovations. - 5+ years of directly managing and responsible for multiple large projects experience
- Experience and strong technical background in relevant fields of automated or non-automated material handling equipment
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other STEM field
- 8+ years of experience as a Project Engineer, Process Engineer, Project Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, or related occupation
- Experience managing the lifecycle of cross-functional projects, implementing automated equipment and/or integrated systems
- Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360, etc.)

To be successful in this role you will need to be able to influence and work with senior leaders across multiple organizations and geographies. You will work with organizations such as Worldwide (WW) Engineering and Design, WW Tech SME, Last Mile Delivery and Tech as well as Operations and Safety to innovate at scale and drive the development roadmap. You will manage large, complex initiatives, deal with ambiguity and advocate on behalf of the customer to develop the next generation of AMZL delivery station.
Responsibilities include:
- Initiate, define, plan and manage the roll out of the product features and enhancements for the next generation of AMZL Delivery Stations.- Identify new programs to onboard and integrate.- Present concepts, designs, program updates and roadmap to senior leadership on a frequent basis.
