- 8+ years of cloud based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating system experience

• We offer employment year-round, part-time (16 hrs/week) while in school and full-time (40hrs/week) during summer. Working schedules are flexible and can be re-arranged each quarter to accommodate class schedules.

• Jr. Data Scientists are given responsibilities and roles that prepare them to enter the workforce after graduation with “real world” data science and analytics experience.
Key job responsibilities
- Create pipelines for reports, analyze massive-scale data, leverage knowledge in machine learning, advanced analytics, metrics, reporting, and analytic tooling/languages like SQL, Excel, and others, to analyze and translate the data into meaningful insights; make sense of the results and be able to explain what it all means to key stakeholders like scientists, product managers, and engineers.

- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university Master's program.
- Majoring in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related STEM discipline.
- Graduating in June 2027 and beyond.
- Ability to work year-round: part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer.
- This role is not offered as remote or hybrid and working hours must be conducted in our corporate office in Austin, TX.
- Living within commutable distance to Austin, TX.

- PhD in operations research, applied mathematics, theoretical computer science, or equivalent, or PhD and 5+ years of a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analytics, economics, finance, engineering, or computer science experience

A day in the life
As a Constructability Engineer you will be involved in the entire process of a project, from site selection all the way through into operations. You will act as a conduit between Design Engineering and all other teams, providing a pragmatic and practical engineering-based support to both DE and associated teams. Delivery issues will be both presented to you by our own team and other associated teams, but you will also actively seek to recognize problems and develop solutions. Resolution of these issues will require a thorough understanding of the process of design and construction to enable a robust and manageable solution to be developed, always considering the best interests of the AWS business.About the team
