Key job responsibilities
Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on automation systems (PLCs, SCADA, HMI, sensors, etc.)Support preventive and corrective maintenance on control panels, automation components, and field instrumentation.Assist in root cause analysis for automation-related failures and develop corrective action plans.Document all work performed in the CMMS system, including parts used and time spent.Participate in commissioning and start-up of new automation projects and equipment.Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and standards.
Technical Diploma in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical, or related field.Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with industrial automation systems.Solid understanding of PLCs (Siemens, or similar), sensors, and motor controls.Ability to read and interpret electrical and automation schematics.Proficient in using diagnostic tools and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or on-call as needed.
Experience in high-volume manufacturing, logistics, or energy facilities.Hands-on experience with PLC systemsKnowledge of safety systems (e.g., E-stop circuits, safety relays, SIL-rated devices).Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Key job responsibilities
The extent of your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:· Health & Safety: ownership and accountability, ensuring that work is carried out to a high standard and complies with all Amazon polices and guidelines.
· Installation, maintenance and support of IT equipment
· Asset and Inventory management.
· Liase with 3rd party vendors and suppliers to ensure efficient asset management.
· Liaise with contractors or external suppliers and clearly communicate technical issues and Amazon standards.
· Maximizing the availability of all IT equipment and infrastructure through continuous improvement and proactive, preventative maintenance.
· Providing technical support/input to site and team projects and initiatives.
· Conducting end user equipment trials and testing.
· Providing assistance to senior engineers as required
. Working in shifts (including weekends) and supporting occasional changes in working hours.
- 1+ years of corporate setting Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience
- Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems
- Experience maintaining zebra thermal printers, troubleshooting thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals.

- CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS, or other industry relevant certifications
- Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service.
