Basic Qualifications

- • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, Engineering, or related field
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English
- • Experience with data analysis and process documentation

Key job responsibilities
We are looking for a Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer (ASIC) who will define ASIC quality requirements and deploy processes to deliver aerospace quality at unprecedented scale.
- Own quality performance of OSAT suppliers including requirements definition, qualification, production process validation, failure analysis, metrics reporting, and continuous improvement
- Define and scale Kuiper’s quality system to ensure early detection of process excursions improving product quality and reliability in mass production
- Act as the primary interface for quality-related issues with OSAT suppliers
- Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with Kuiper's quality requirements
- Set and monitor quality metrics across Kuiper’s ASIC supply chain
- Perform supplier data analysis and visualization
- Work with Engineering and Supply Chain team for second source qualifications- Travel as needed to accomplish program objectives
Export Control Requirement:
This position may require access to information, technology, or hardware that is subject to export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Employment in this position is contingent upon obtaining any required export licenses or other approvals from the United States government. As such, the successful candidate must be eligible to obtain any necessary export licenses or approvals based on their nationality, citizenship, and any other factors considered by the applicable export regulations.A day in the life
- Collaborates with product development teams as the owner of ASIC quality system requirements- Builds and enforces implementation of the Kuiper Quality System
- Serves as the face of Quality for ASIC supplier communication
- Leads resolution of quality events utilizing structured failure analysis tools

Basic Qualifications

- BS or MS degree in electrical engineering, materials science and engineering, applied physics or related fields.
- 7+ years' experience in ASIC quality, manufacturing, testing or failure analysis.
- Knowledge and experience in statistics fundamentals and data analysis tools.


Preferred Qualifications

- 10+ years' experience managing quality of OSAT / foundry supplier partners
- Knowledge of semiconductor frontend/backend manufacturing processes and failure analysis
- Data analysis tools (JMP or Minitab)
- Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent
- Lean certification Proven knowledge of industry ASIC and quality standards (JEDEC, IPC, ISO, IATF, ANSI)
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer

Controls Coordinators are responsible for understanding the entire construction and deployment lifecycle, the data center design types, the different vendors and systems, and how these components impact the purchasing for multi-million dollar data center deployment projects. They provide corresponding Operational Planning (OP1/2) inputs to Finance Managers against this historic work. They compile and submit Work Order and Change Order requests, ensuring the correct technical documents are included in the contract that Legal drafts. They submit Purchase Requests with the necessary funding and vendor information to generate the Purchase Orders required to complete work. They also manage Supervisory Controls and Direct Automation (SCADA) rack forecasts and ordering. They actively partner with Controls Engineers, Controls Managers, Finance, Legal, and Procurement to complete these key deliverables.As an intern, you will be working on purchase orders for vendors and continuous improvements to internal process. You will be assigned to be part of a team, who will help you in identifying project goals, inspire and mentor you, and support your professional development.A day in the life
