- 5+ years of front-end developer creating prototypes or wire-frames for enterprise web applications or workflows experience
- Experience developing with MVC/MVM frameworks (e.g. React.JS, AngularJS, Vue)


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of web services technologies such as SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD, and REST
- Experience in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns.

Key job responsibilities• Create and implement changes on the network.
• Work closely with our automation teams in defining the tools that allow us to scale at higher volume.
• Lead network projects in the areas of network sustaining engineering, network deployment/implementation, network scaling, technology refresh, best practices application, and/or network optimization.
• Sustain Amazon Web Services’ next generation networks for significant AWS customers by providing critical network support to diagnose, mitigate impact, and resolve large-scale networking events.
• Operate and troubleshoot network routing, interconnectivity, platforms, performance, and configurations issues; including necessary low level application interaction, Unix systems, and new age networking software tools.
• Drive and support innovation from Top of Rack to the Network Border and everything in between.
• Partner with our broader Network/Infrastructure organization in the areas of network engineering, configurations standards, and tools.
• Work closely with our Network/Systems/Software Engineering teams to ensure fast, smooth roll-out of new designs and products, as well as assist with deployment and sustaining of networking software tools.
• Maintain standards across the networking toolset and ensure that we are fully compliant to those standards and policies.
• Deliver simple, sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes.
• Collaborate with highest tier escalation engineers/resolvers.
• Create and review documentation and process regarding network implementation/deployments, recurring issues, new standard operating procedures, knowledge transfer material, etc.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics or Computer Engineering, Or equivalent
- 5+ years of hands-on experience on high speed communication system or components
- 4+ years of experience with transceivers module development and their industry standard (IEEE, MSA, CMIS)
- 2+ years of experience working with transceivers module vendors and component suppliers
- 2+ years of experience developing test scripts for transceivers module validation and characterization.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- PhD or Masters preferred - Expertise in hardware and systems design and development.
- Expertise in debugging and troubleshooting transceiver or link issues
- Experience working with ODM and CM suppliers of transceiver modules.
- Significant experience in the transceiver development lifecycle.
- Proven track record of innovating or inventing transceiver solutions.
- Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this roles.
