Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing the launch of the ESC in 2025, working closely with global AWS teams, and influencing the evolution of AWS services and technology. A typical day in this role involves collaborating with technology leaders, contributing to the enhancement of day-to-day operations, and ensuring improvements in availability, reliability, latency, performance, and efficiency of the ESC. - 4+ years of major internet routing protocols experience.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

- Work closely with network planning to ensure that acquisitions meet our topology requirements and budgets.
- Work closely with internal customers to understand product roadmaps and devise programs to meet capacity requirements.

- 5+ years experience in the telecommunications industry with at least 2 years in the Western European Market.
- Experience in negotiations of infrastructure, dark fiber and wavelengths.
- Experience in the planning, design and, construction of new telecoms fibre networks.
- Experience working at a large network operator, OTT or Internet Service Provider.
- Demonstrated understanding of global fiber and IP networks.
- Experience interacting with senior executives and other management within a company and working across commercial, technical, domestic, and international arms of an organization.
