You should have good understanding of financial processes, be expert with Microsoft Office and proficient with wide range of computer applications, such as Remedy, Wiki or Oracle Financial Applications. Ability to self-educate and achieve goals without external support is also important. We will expect you to document update and publish new processes.Ideal candidate will be interested in computer technologies with a strong drive to learn new skills. Inventory Management experience is essential. You will be responsible for gathering data, generating, publishing and presenting metrics in variety of areas.The base location for the candidate could be Mumbai or any other city and the candidate may be required to shift base.Key job responsibilities
Logistics Specialists are expected to understand all aspects of transportation, shipping and receiving as well as inventory control, adhere to strict safety standards, maintain very high quality, and be willing and able to work on material handling equipment (i.e Pallet Jack).
- Completing manual tasks, such as assembling, addressing and arranging for the shipment of materials, handling incoming shipments, unpack boxes and verify contents
- Load and unload large equipment utilizing pallet jacks
- Maintain accountability of in-stock components as well as receive and process inbound shipments
- Working closely with Datacenter Operations Technicians to fulfill parts and equipment deliveries quickly and accurately- Regular and ongoing communications with vendors to resolve issues and help them understand our business requirements necessitates a high-level communicator.
