The Solutions Architect team at AWS is responsible for helping customers successfully implement cloud technologies. In a typical week you will meet multiple customers, and you will collaborate with them on designing and operating well-architected solutions. You will earn their trust and show them the art of the possible, educating them around the capabilities of AWS. Partnering with internal teams and experts, leveraging a deep knowledge of our tools and products, you’ll craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address our customers’ business problems. - Bachelor's degree
- Background in any other following or related to Technology Architect, Consultant, Cloud Architect, Technical Lead, Engineering Lead, Systems Engineer etc.
- Experience and/or deeper understanding in one or more technology areas. Specific knowledge in multiple technology domain areas (e.g., software development/architecture, systems engineering, infrastructure, containers, databases, security, networking, data & analytics, AI/ML, GenAI).
- Have worked on design, development, implementation, or consulting applications / platforms in their prior experience
- Can create proof of concepts, demos, and/or scripts from scratch or leveraging reusable components.
- Understands and can articulate common architectural patterns and design principles.
- Able to create technical content that is easily adopted and reusable by others.
- Fluent communication skills.

- Experience architecting, migrating or transforming customer requirements to the cloud
- Professional experience architecting / operating solutions built on AWS or other cloud technology
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions and/or applications to the cloud
- One or more AWS certifications, e.g. AWS Solutions Architect Professional
- Able to present to technical and business audiences (training, workshops, publications)
- 4 years’ experience as a Solution Architect or related role.

This is an ideal role for someone who has experience working for a global systems integrator, a large IT consulting firm, or a Fortune 1000 company. In this role, you will develop the technical capabilities of our Global Strategic Partners (GSPs) so they can be successful in the cloud. Working with these large partners is a team effort that will require influence and coordination with many stakeholders. You should possess both a technical background that enables you to engage at the VP/CXO level, as well as a sales background that enables you to easily interact with customers and account management/field reps/pre-sales architects. You should be just as comfortable talking modernization, Data & Generative AI, and migrations with partner executives, continuous deployment with the DevOps team, TCO with the CFO, and cloud strategy with the CIO. If you are a problem solver with a broad technical-skills, and have the ability to drive technical initiatives and cloud migration & modernization projects with the GSPs, you will enjoy this role.In this technical role, you will own the technical relationship and deliverables for a GSP, architect enterprise-grade AWS solutions, act as a trusted customer advisor to partner executives, lead white boarding sessions, author white papers and blog posts, develop and execute multi-day workshops, and respond to complex technical inquiries. - Bachelor’s degree required
- 10+ years of experience as a contact center technology architect, enterprise IT Architect or senior contact center developer working with leading contact center technology platforms and applications, such as Avaya, Cisco, Genesys, Verint, NICE, Salesforce, etc.
