We’re searching for an experienced Circuit Design & Analysis engineer with a background in custom circuit design & analysis, system level thermal & power analysis with a proven track record of handling challenges at scale. In this role, you’ll be working directly with product engineers, signal & power integrity engineers and physical design experts - defining best practices, driving correlation of pre-silicon simulation of thermal & power integrity to post silicon analysis and developing custom circuits that help raise the bar in implementing state-of-the-art machine learning hardware.Key job responsibilities
- Design and implement custom cells / IP.
- Develop & run characterization flows for custom cells / IP developed.
- Own integration & post-silicon qualification of IPs like PLL, PCIE, UCIE, HBM, sensors/monitors.
- Develop scripts to automate running analysis and collect reports.
- Develop test-plan and perform measurements in the lab to correlate with simulation data.
A day in the life
Depending on the state of the project, you may find yourself working on the following:- Evaluate IPs (like sensors, process monitors) from a 3rd party
- Develop an characterize custom IPs like ganged buffers, custom logic cells for specialized operations (like MACs)
- Work with designers and architects to identify pain-points and areas where custom solutions can improve PPAS
- Do post-silicon quality checks for key IP like PLLs, UCIE/PCIE, HBM
- Do post-silicon power measurements of jitter, sensor calibration, power and correlate with simulationWork/Life Balance

- BS + 8yrs or MS + 6yrs or PhD + 3yr in EE/CS
- Expertise on circuit level analysis using tools like SPICE / SPECTRE
- Expertise in interconnect & transistor fundamentals in deep sub-micron processes
- Understanding of ASIC Physical Design from RTL-to-GDSII
- Understanding of other sign-off activities (ir/em, physical verification, timing closure, DFT)
- 3+ years of scripting experience with Tcl, Perl or Python

- 3+ years experience in cloud architecture, a ML practitioner with hands-on implementation of ML systems; building, validating and deploying GenAI models
- 5+ years of professional experience in a business environment; experience of IT platform implementation in a highly technical or analytical role
- 3+ years experience of handling large datasets and strong software development skills with proficiency in one or more programming languages including Python and one additional language e.g., Java, C#
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices with practical hands-on application and strong interest in AI/ML solutions
- Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to lead effectively across organizations in German and English

- 3+ years Technical experience preferred, knowledge of AI/ML Technology stack of AWS and Generative AI trends, patterns, anti-patterns
- 3+ years Application Development experience required with serverless technologies and experience training distributed ML models on CPU and GPU hardware
- Serving ML models through realtime APIs and experience with deploying production-grade machine learning solutions on public cloud platforms
- Knowledge of vertical use cases for large language models in industries like finance, healthcare, manufacturing etc
- AWS experience preferred, with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation)
- AWS Professional or Specialty level certifications (e.g., Machine Learning Specialty)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Generative AI Innovation Center is a program that pairs you with AWS science and strategy experts with deep experience in AI/ML and generative AI techniques to:
- Imagine new applications of generative AI to address your needs.- Integrate Generative AI into your existing applications and workflows.- Hands-on help developing solutions mapped to requirements, scaling into production, and collaborating closely with stakeholders to share knowledge.
Key job responsibilities
• Bring alignment between customer’s technologists and business leads; help them to explore the art of the possible with generative AI and machine learning, and to develop a roadmap to deliver business value in the most effective way
• Discuss complex industry-specific business concepts with executives, line managers and technologists
• Engage with various AWS teams, including applied scientists, solutions architects, business development, marketing, industry specialists, partners and regional organizations
• Drive large, complex sales opportunities from ideation, through vision building and scoping, all the way to closure and into delivery
• Ensure customer success in ideating and deploying proof of concept projects on the AWS platform, and enable them to move forward in learning from the PoC project to deliver production solutions
• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep business discussions to ensure solutions are designed to capture business value and drive the intended success metrics
• Conduct workshop sessions to identify opportunities with our customers to scope how they could deliver business value through the use of generative AI or machine learning
• Capture and operationalize best-practice knowledge for enterprises that wish to drive generative AI or machine learning more holistically within their operation (e.g., deploying a customer center of excellence)
• Author or otherwise contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers
• Build deep relationships with senior individuals within customers to enable them to be advocates of the industry and advanced technology solutions
• Effectively evangelize and enable various AWS teams to work collaboratively with the Generative AI Innovation Center, including solutions architects, business development, marketing, industry specialists, delivery teams, partners and regional organizations
• Act as a business liaison between customers, services, technologists and support
• Make meaningful contributions to deep business discussions
