Basic Qualifications

- Graduated less than 24 months ago or about to complete a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields at time of application
- Knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals
- Programming experience in C or Java / Rust
- Knowledge in databases
- Experience with Operating systems and Kernel Internals, Rust programming


Preferred Qualifications

- Previous technical internship(s) if applicable
- Experience with distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and relational databases
- Experience such as linear programming and nonlinear optimisation
- Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
- Adept at handling ambiguous or undefined problems as well as ability to think abstractly

You will be building the lowest layer of the Amazon Web Services software stack, engineering new EC2 instance families and developing the EC2 Nitro Hypervisor for AWS.
