The Logistics Specialist is responsible for executing materials planning and control to support on-going operations and expansions of multiple data centers within an assigned region. This is an individual contributor role with a focus on warehouse/storage facility management, inventory management and control and goods receiving and distribution.Key job responsibilities
• Warehouse Management: inventory planning and regular cycle count, ensure inventory accuracy and optimize inventory level and availability, physical warehouse management.
• Logistics Functions: goods receiving, transfer, distribution and related operations in system, liaise with suppliers and our internal teams, respond to requests or queries from internal and external customers.
• Procurement: PR/PO handling, delivery and payment monitoring.
Basic Qualifications • Bachelor Degree • 2+ year experience in logistics, Strong understanding of shipping & receiving, inventory and warehousing practices. • Able to read and take direction by English. • Experience in ERP system and other statistical analysis tools. • Strong communication and inter-personal skills and able to effectiveness communicate with international counterparts. • Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
