This role requires an engineer with experience in automation, engineering, planning and analysis of the Material Handling Equipment in Delivery Stations.This role will be based in either Sydney or Melbourne. - Lead Material Handling Equipment automation projects
- Update equipment specifications based on various factors; labor, cost, safety, performance, etc. working with Process Engineering and Operations partners- Monitor performance of the installed equipment in Australia by measuring success criteria for meeting metrics for safety, productivity and quality
- Support lessons learnt program for to understand improvements needed for specifications iterations

- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment experience
- Experience working with Material handling equipment (MHE)
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL at the intermediate level

- Knowledge of automated material handling systems, packaging technologies and storage solutions

You will partner with AWS stakeholders to develop regional and site-specific development strategies enabling the construction and operation of AWS datacenters and infrastructure. You will lead environmental due diligence for site selection and acquisition, develop and execute regional and site-specific environmental permitting strategies, support environmental compliance during design and construction, and prepare for data center operations. This role requires regular engagement throughout the development lifecycle with multiple AWS stakeholders including Real Estate, Legal, Risk, Water, Design, Public Policy, Construction, and Operational teams, as well as external stakeholders including regulatory agencies, consultants, and contractors.A successful candidate in this role will have a proven track record of delivering multiple, high-priority projects with tight timelines that require strong communication with partner teams, outside consultants and counsel, and regulatory agencies.
