Description:

Make our software more secure

In this role you will gather requirements, design, implement, and maintain tools and infrastructure. You will work with industry-standard tools to help Akamai reduce risk and improve security. You'll evolve, develop and enhance tools and automation processes used by our global development and test teams.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining Continual Testing throughout the SDLC process. Including planning, analysis, design, build, testing, implementation and maintenance
  • Creating and enhancing new features and functionality including conception, design, testing and implementation
  • Collaborating with engineers, architects and other technical teams to craft first-class technical implementations
  • Working closely with product and program management to identify risks, solve problems, and maintain progress
  • Leading and perform activities such as design and code reviews, patch integration, identification of quality improvements
  • Providing ongoing technical support and maintenance under End-to-End responsibility in line with DevOps best practices

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have Master's in Computer Science, engineering, management information systems, other related field or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrate understanding of software development principles and methodologies
  • Possess good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Demonstrate excellence coding in Python and Angular
  • Have working experience on front end technologies like TypeScript (JavaScript), CSS, Django, AngularJS
  • Have proficiency in technical evaluation of products, design of applications along with knowledge on web programming languages.
  • Demonstrate great experience in developing, deploying and supporting Linux/Unix applications throughout the SDLC process
  • Be experienced working with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, Gitlab CI)

  • Working with suppliers, members of the Procure to Pay team
  • Providing support for the full-life cycle of accounts payable to ensure accuracy of financial records and payments
  • Identifying and resolving any issues and inconsistencies related to invoices and associated purchase orders and receiving documents
  • Processing and reconciling travel & expense reimbursement in Concur
  • Supporting the local corporate card program (corporate cards reconciliation, managing corporate card applications)
  • Supporting analytics and reporting
