A typical day:

• Take actions with hotel partners as needed to drive assigned projects forward
• Maintain well organized and detailed tracking mechanisms relating to assigned projects
• Call, email, and Zoom with hotel partners to accomplish assigned project needs
• Manage relationships with hotel partners within assigned portfolio
• Support scaled strategies to effectively manage & optimize hotel partners in assigned portfolio
• Educate partners on how HotelTonight and Airbnb platforms function
• Develop strong and long lasting partnerships
• Respond to and deliver exceptional service in a timely and efficient manner
• Work cross-functionally when necessary as well as with Market Managers within HotelTonight Supply
• Implement strategies to effectively manage and optimize workflows
• Act as the ‘front desk’ of HotelTonight and Airbnb to hotel partners with many needs and triage appropriately

Your expertise:

• 3+ years of experience in account management and/or partner support.
• 2+ years of hospitality/travel industry experience (preferred)
• Proficiency in both English and Cantonese.
• Self-starter who is resourceful with a get it done attitude
• Strong time management and prioritization skills
• Strong organizational skills relating to project work with a large volume of inputs and moving parts
• Track record of being able to effectively work a book of business (account management)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients via phone, email, and zoom
• Team player, willing to contribute what is needed for the success of the team
• The ability to get things done with changing priorities, projects and deadlines

A Typical Day:

• Develop and own the supply strategy for your assigned geographic markets
• Build deep knowledge of your assigned geographic markets and become the go-to source for all information relating to local trends and market dynamics for internal and external partners
• Manage professional host account relationships within the UK to ultimately meet and exceed quarterly/annual sales goals. This includes holding optimization and business reviews with your clients as well as representing Airbnb in external meetings with Professional Hosts
• Analyze data and utilize data-driven recommendations to identify and action on strategic opportunities in your region to drive increase in sales
• Educate clients on all significant product changes and cascade feedback on product and policy to the relevant internal stakeholders
• Respond to and deliver exceptional service to your professional hosts in a timely and efficient manner, occasionally traveling to your market to provide in-person support and guidance
• Work cross-functionally with public policy, legal, communication and customer support teams to ensure our long-term market success.
• Engage an entrepreneurial mindset to autonomously design, develop and execute bespoke engagement initiatives for the assigned territory.

Your Expertise:

• 6+ years of experience in account management, partner support, and/or sales, with 2+ years in the hospitality/travel industry preferred
• Fluency in English is required
• Willingness to travel regularly to your assigned market (1-2 times per quarter)
• Proven track record in managing a leads pipeline and/or book of business
• Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, Mixmax a plus) and managing core objects (leads, opportunities)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage clients via Zoom, Email, and In-person

As a Senior Market Manager, you will be focused on bringing differentiated service products to life through acquiring untapped, unique supply in the services market to provide positive experiences for Guests and Hosts in your assigned territory.

Focusing on these responsibilities, you will build Airbnb’s strong market presence in your assigned territory by collaborating with other teams as the local in-market expert. As someone who knows the Airbnb mission and values inside out, you will drive all phases of supply acquisition and market success, including acquisition strategy development, generating and converting supply leads, maintaining the experience quality, nurturing strategic relationships with hosts, as well as creating them from scratch.
