Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

The role requires creating/validating BCP-DR procedures, alongside planning, and conducting regular mock-disaster exercises to test the adequacy of existing plans and strategies. Facilitate debriefing sessions, and update procedures and plans based on lessons learned. Be the champion for continuity efforts after a disruption event. Additional responsibilities include risk, controls, and compliance management, supporting BCP-DR audit and examination activities.
